  1. Mike I know someone with a nice '94 pearl grey 2.0L 16V that he'd be happy to swap for a VR - just to help complete your collection
  2. Never heard of that - wonder how it compares to the petrol one?
  3. Thats crazy, would have thought he'll be putting a roll cage in the next one - just incase
  4. Removing them will make the sides look cleaner and yeah it's fairly easy if you're gentle with them and use a hair dryer to soften the glue,... but if I was you I'd replace it with a new one - just think, if it wasn't there then it'd have been your door :?
  5. Thank's chaps... leave my radio mast out of this randel... damn you  It's not as bad as your one with the white ball in IMG_3437.jpg Mine's pearl Grey and I think Randals is slightly different - not quite as charcoal looking... didn't say on the sticker on his inner-wing either :? Not really sure why VW made 2 or 3 variations of the same colour - only reason I can think of is to make life bl**dy difficult when trying to find 2nd hand parts in the right shade
  6. Weyhey... def a trend starting :) Both looking very good 8) Shame you couldn't find matching colours like ours
  7. Get a movie of it too... would be good to see
  8. Thats the one I want lol I keep drooling over the thought of having it in the C... not long now - performance is top notch then Kev?
  9. Debadged grill (yay just got one :D ) Eyebrow spoiler 30mm / 90mm front splitters corrado-forum.net sticker
  10. EEEK! Sorry wasn't happy with the order
  11. Looks like you've started a trend Jim
  12. I'd really like a set of brushed alu bezels for each gauge. I have them on the clocks in my peugeot :pukeleft: and even if it's a cr4p car they do make the dash look very 8) - someone could make a nice little earner on these as they'd be dead easy to fit and wouldn't require ripping the clocks apart completely to modernise the general look... please keep me posted if anyone decides to go ahead with this...
  13. Drilling the air box... Another idea... when a final list is put together - why not put relevant links to previous threads on the topic next to the mod in question? It might help avoid stupid question syndrome
  14. Removing side bump strips seems to be a popular one - haven't done this myself as want to keep nice straight, dent free doors :D

    spare wheel

I have an un-used space saver and IIRC the carpet is slightly raised but not too bad... also have a spare BBS rim - wouldn't have thought this would be a good fit so never tried it in there!
  16. There's so many of you maybe it's a bit of a common colour  :-P
  17. Ordered mine yesterday and collected them this morning! Very pleased with fit / sweep... very good service from VW in Guildford and got the Club discount no problems 8) Went for this combination: 2x 6x2998406 Wiper arm and blade 1x 1J2955425A Driver side blade Whole lot came to a couple of quid shy of £50 :D
  18. Same position I'm in. But I do admit that the Avon's are superb in the dry! They are shocking in the wet though. I've got ZV1's all round and find them great in the dry - bags of grip... they're still very good in the wet as well, no problems at all throwing it into wet roundabouts or caining it down wet country lanes... 8)
  19. Looks good mate - have you ever tried it on the road?
  20. Looks very nice - ride height looks spot on 8)
  21. http://www.wreckedexotics.com Well this made me feel much better about the general condition of my car
  22. You could try plastic welding yours?
  23. My rear wash jet does the same - you can hear the motor whine but no water (doesn't leak from anywhere else though) Passed the MOT no probs like that... Infact I removed the water bottle from the boot in my MK1 (didn't want to soak the amp and sub in an accident) had it that way for about three years and never had a problem with the MOT with that either... Would be interested to hear any clever ideas to get my washer jet working again though... I know in the past using a bottle of compressed air (available at a good camera shop) and blowing through the tiny hole in the jet has helped remedy simular problems - might be worth a try. Although Harry if yours is leaking water from in front of the wheel it sounds like the pipe must be routed that way... have you jacked it up and got a friend to do it so you can see where the water comes from? It wouldn't suprise me if the pipe is routed internaly and the water is leaking from a small gap in the body work? I'm only guessing though... let me know how you get on...
  24. What are you polishing it with Chris? Looks good, you can do mine next
