What's the corrado doing/ not doing Dox?
-
π€£ watch this space.... is yours out and about or tucked up keeping warm?

Corrado officially booked in for 1st March π€ That Man flu is definitely doing the rounds at the moment so get well soon The Golf is moveable now so thatvmakes my life easier. It was supposed to be tuned today, but he didn't turn up.... stripping and sorting the bodywork next
-
π Keep that gas flowing as I had to clear snow from off my drive this evening. 5 years π€£ we should sort that soon then.

Time moves on and thanks to having man flu and feeling shite I haven't been to work. On Annual leave so seems a waste.... As I felt slightly better today I put the mk2 golf on 4 wheels for its 1st time since engine rebuild etc. Not important, but it meant that I could drive this out of the way and get the Corrado out. Treated her to a well deserved wash in over a year and she came out looking good. Such a small pleasure So in between the business of life i can now get this booked in for its tracking and MOT. Time for some insurance quotes again
-
Good luck with the rebuild and don't get any on that floor. Chris is the man to get inspiration from, just look at his thread. His engine is better than new, how the hell can that happen!! You kept it this long for a reason, so enjoy the ups and downs that are coming π.

Better than factory New π. Very impressive work

The car does look great and a great bodykit. Be careful with that front splitter and kerbs.... Do you have a ramp in a garage to clean the underside after going out? Or accept that it can happily get dirty for the next 20years as everything is good there. Your car always looks great π

Top rh corner press the 3 lines and. Drop down box listing things. It shows subscriptions on mine. I have an early mk2 golf in the middle of being restored. 8v that I don't have the love for. And as a non runner it is blocking in my corrado!! -
Are you sure that is the correct number? Pretty sure the spring is available and the same across all the engines. I replaced mine on a mk2 8v golf last year

Happy new year mate. Stay strong and stay here πͺ

Happy New year everyone. I'm still no further in this coming out of the garage. I still start her up every week and allow it to get hot and thebfans come on. Whilst doing this yesterday I noticed what looked like some kind of fume/smoke slowly rising up behind pcv valve area. This I had seen when the muffler Box had previously gone bang.. I have taken the rubber inlet elbow off that has a slight split at the rear. So fitted the old plastic one and all seems good. I'm sure I read somewhere that the rubber is a better fit with a Schrick manifold, but the plastic Corrado one fits fine No fumes so far. This year's mission is when the mk2 can drive out of the way, Karmann can get her alignment done and an MOT . π€

An engine good enough to match your engine bay. Keep it goingπͺ

Good hopeful progress. I did notice on Classic parts Website yesyerday that they do a module B which says for mk3 golf and Corrado. I forgot to look at the fuse size on it!! -
