How many sensors do you have in your thermostat Fen ?
-
Im sure I read somewhere that early models had a 2 stage fan and late 3 stage , could of imagined it though. Would this be the reason they changed over fan controller, I have no idea to be honest but keep us updated on your progress . Cheers.

Who PM'd Kevin Bacon recently about an R32 intake/silicon elbow?

Don't think this even works anymore Rob. -
Been over to AMOS today re stocking on parts , got myself a mint set of internal window scrapers both sides x4 trims , 3 front indicator lenses, plenty of rare parts I grabbed today

Well what I would say guys in regards to a starter motor, My JP group starter has gave me no issues, cant say that for the JP Mass Sensor !. In reflection though with my MK2 Golf I sent off my starter to a re manufacturing company in Manchester, think they refurbished my Bosch starter for £60 and my alternator for £120.00. Comes back sparkling with new fittings, paint and internals. You can't beat Bosch so the way I would go is send it off to get it refurbished, only a weeks turn around . Vince at Stealth follows the same procedure = refurbished stock is better than aftermarket. I can drop the link of the company if any one is interested. One thing you have to watch with Heritage with starters motors and alternators is they sell it if it fits but might be under powered on the amp etc. From factory is best, you know it has the correct spec so refurbishment is the way forward.

Edit. Shaun thought he had purchased a full cover for lower windscreen and scuttle cover, however will have to fork out another £200 of his hard earned money or so if he wants the full spoonfed lower windscreen + all in one scuttle panel. Spoonfed is great stuff but bloomin expensive:scratch: Whilst looking at their site I priced up the boot and carpet set plus the carbon door sill trims the last owner purchased for my car . Floor mats $167.00 https://www.spoonfedtuning.com/collections/corrado/products/corrado-black-floor-mats-set-of-4-designer-series?variant=24665188039 Bott carpet $155.00 https://www.spoonfedtuning.com/collections/corrado/products/corrado-vr6-cargo-mat Door sill trims $200.00 https://www.spoonfedtuning.com/collections/corrado/products/corrado-door-sills-carbon-fiber Plus shipping and import duty I think the last owner must of parted with a whopping £600.00 for the above items. Probably would of been better they had spent the money on the drivetrain or bodywork of the car to preserve her.

Managed to log on today but was unable to log on all last night, so it seems this is a new problem on the Forum to add other issues.
-
When you see the part number starting with 535 you know VW are going to get their rebate back on low sale numbers of Rados from factory.
-
Think the op is on about the trims that locate directly below the windscreen Fen not the scuttle panel.
-
A user on here is selling a spoonfed one complete one piece if you search the posts from the last week.

That's exactly why I opted for a highly optioned Mk7 GTI p/p over an R , cant beat the GTI for its iconic handling and branding. Even when the Golf rallye was about with the heavy all wheel drive the 16V wiped its ass. Can't say that anymore with the GTI and R but i'll still go for the GTI as loyal to the brand and has heritage. Love the club sport could be the best investment VAG car of all time. -
HI Chris . Not to complicate this thread but I think the inner scrappers are in high demand also. I think with new and outer scrapers would make a huge difference. Would be great it you could buy all four off classics if you next contact them and possibly pass that on also. Thanks

If it the ebay one says its just for the headlights not including fogs , he is an electrician pervert by the looks of his other goods for sale, has probably modded all his lights.
-
Hi Shaun , Hope all is well have you fitted your seals yet mate, bet they lift the car nicely ? Are you on about the loom from Germany the expensive one ?
-
I will post a picture of the loom once the seller emails me over one, oh hold cant post on here grrrrr.
-
My x relief loom at the moment has spade mating on to the OE plug and can only see one Relay , it must be old as the connectors on the battery look at least 15 years old so must of been some of the first uprated looms. If it the ebay one says its just for the headlights not including fogs , he is an electrician expert by the looks of it so has probably modded all his lights.
-
I have asked the seller to post me a picture and also how many relays there are, does look like an English seller that has specialist electrics for sale and says he owns a Corrado so might be good.
-
Ive got a feeling it might be the same as the other one I have posted because it also advertises for the Golf MK2. Who was the member making these anyone remember ?
-
I bet he has VSR under his bed for a rainy day, more appreciation then a Rolex.

Are R32 parts now becoming thin on the ground like the Corrado , can you nick a lot parts of the Audi TT ? I actually nearly sold my Rado last week but pulled out of it because I was getting fed up with the cost of sourcing parts but decided to stay with her, totally agree with you they have come to an age when they need to be preserved. I have a Golf Mk2 16V its a joy to own parts are in an abundance, wings £60 new, bonnet £88 new a pure joy ha !

Another nightmare are the motorways, HGV numbers have gone up by 60 % since the boom of internet shopping, why oh why they didnt use the infrastructure of the old railways lines in the last 20 years or so to build the supermarkets etc is beyond me, and now they have shut the emergency lane in my city on the motorways with this crappy smart motorway system, so many people are going to be in fatal collisions with HGv when they brake down in the slow lane and there is now layby to rest in. Horrific planning from central government, for christ sake I use do scaffolding in the old rover works and they even had their own railway that loaded the cars, we have gone backwards.
