1. To get a Rado in good condition and purchase you are looking at 10k this it totally fact. Remember folks people forked out good money for these cars back in the 90s new. If you look at the link below it will show you what a Rado VR6 would cost new in today's money. £40K base price - with options £45K https://www.bankofengland.co.uk/monetary-policy/inflation/inflation-calculator
2. Im not sure why they had 4 exhausts to be honest, it sort of clutters up the rear butt of the car, don't get me wrong I'm sure it's a blast to drive and would wipe the florr with a GTI, I'm just loyal to the GTI brand and its sentimental to me.
3. I would say my fuel pump has def never been changed as the screw cap looks absolutely brand spanking new in my car !!!
4. Very nice colour in Night Blue Jon, looks great with the contrasting red GTI stripe.
5. I have the interior door sill trims and the deep pile carpets off them, both very good quality. You should 100 % bring over Hood release horns VR6 Front fenders Cheers.
6. I went manual chap bit old skool with the old gear box like to be the main decision maker not the computer. Also I imagine white stays cooler then other cars in the sun.
7. Thanks Pfnsht the list you written is my exact thoughts, you tend to see a lot more chavs in the R models to , sorry for those that are not. I actually went for a White one which has not been my first choice in the past because of the Essex brigade, however I think VW's look so cool in white ie like your Rado, also the white contrasts really nicely with the black accents, chrome and shadow alloys and plaid interior. The car also had a few extras which I was looking for, Performance Pack, 19' alloys, 3 doors (no keyless start + thiefs like the 5 doors to get all the crooks in and out quick), Nav, and winter pack so cant wait to pick her up tomorrow. I will wait in till the warranty runs out in 9 months and have a chat to Vince, 310 BHP just makes me laugh , that is only 10 bhp less then a 911 997.1!!
8. Thanks Jon just paid you over for them parts much appreciated fellow . I will have a look into them companies I have heard of Montune they are partners with Ford and you still get to hold your warranty, I know this would be not the case with VW but Ford must trust them to keep the three year warranty on a tuned car.

10. I have an extinguisher and it fits just right inside the glove box with my 10 mm spanner to isolate the battery if required, the thing is I bet some of these fires are caused by shoddy workmanship .
11. Hi Guys, So I sold my R129 SL500 because of the new low emissions zone coming into Birmingham and decided to keep My Rado as my weekend classic as it's more fun to drive. As a daily I put my funds from the R129 to a MK7 GTI performance pack with 230 BHP. The R was in the same price range but as I've always had GTI'S in the past and I'm loyal to that specification and also prefer the looks, might be on my own there as I'm sure most would go for the R but for me it's a bit over kill and I find the R branding less cool as the GTI. So question has anyone had a remap or know what is the safe BHP you can go up to without putting additional strain/damage on the cars components. Cheers.
12. Just took these pics for you to show you how mine look mate.

14. Exactly this that's why I went for a VDO pump and sender, not cheap but should last a hell of long time.
15. I know what you mean mate got Stealth to fit them on my VR6 , all I know is he had to rip the old ones out of the rear subframe, and they were a pain in the ass to get out and he had to use some serious pliers, they actually slot into the subframes, I think he had no issues putting the new ones in though. Part hunt has been fazed out at present. They fir at each end I believe you just need to find the housing for them . Part 15 on diagram http://www.oemepc.com/vw/part_single/catalog/vw/markt/RDW/modell/COR/year/1995/drive_standart/76/hg_ug/615/subcategory/119000/part_id/0/lang/e#sec_15
16. Hi Geri, Hope all is well mate. http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?109949-Black-magic-returns-home&highlight=black+magic Have a look on the photos on page one and you will see the white hangers mate. Cheers.
17. I had this the other day after the heavy rain and assumed I had left the sunroof slighty left open, gave it a good water test afterwards and could not find any further water ingress.
18. To be fair the moon roof looks like a good alternative. This does look like a good buy, the engine bay looks mint. http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?66257-Passat-Moonroof
19. Exactly bargain compared to a golf and is a 2.0 , you never know you could walk away with that car for maybe 2K if the seller was desperate to sell.
20. That could be the catch of the car, you get there and there is a bmw panoramic roof glued on the top with half the roof been cut out:bonk:
21. This looks a lovely car for anyone looking for a 16V . For three grand what a lot you get back, do like Saturn silver on the Rado. https://www.gumtree.com/p/volkswagen/corrado-2.0-16v-1994/1339557305
22. Very rare but I don't like the interior bit to ornate for my liking, call me boring but Ill stick to black leather.
23. Would like a new set of them front indicator lights, on my old R129 you could just go down Euro Car parts and they had a branded set for £40 notes not so with the Rado. He's been watching the Pharaohs and going to the afterlife with plenty of parts.
24. Easypops or did you mean quick draw mcgraw lol !
