  1. Very nice alloys - always been more of Speedline fan then BBS= love the RuF Speedlines . They have been owned by Ronal for sometime .
  2. The plastics are not to bad to be honest its only when they get old they fail.
  3. You should get an early one pretty easy its the late ones that are a bugger to get- pretty sure chris ferry will have a few of the early ones.
  4. A bit like a corrado the parts are worth more then the car. ha
  5. Here you Geri your memory does not fail you. I have a feeling these are the same caps as RM so will be stupid money of course. Ouch https://www.centercapsdirect.com/BBS-Wheels_c_39.html
  6. Any of these numbered 13 on diagram wiith 1322 mm should fit I think the 5 studs are 140 mm. I think you need these 191601149K https://volkswagen.7zap.com/en/rdw/corrado/cor/1995-76/6/601-107010/#13 Sorry to be a Nerd but literally 80 percent of the vag population call these alloys RZ - they are called BBS RJ.which are the none spilt versions of the RM and have same caps and curved spokes whereas the RZ has straight spokes available in a size 14 from VAG and 15 and 16 from BMW with both 4 and 5 stud- they are the none split version of the RS splits and a much better looking alloy IMO/ .
  7. Fire away Ive owned several 996 and 997 and currently do - I know everything you need to know if your thinking about buying one. Especially my point of view on why you should buy a 997.1 over a 997.2/ I have my 19 factory alloys in the garage and like to drive mine on 18s also have upgraded to the M030 static sports suspension. I like narrow body - rwd - and static suspension (hate pasm ) I like mine as a B road bomber- not into awd or wide hips- 19s horrible on UK roads and handle poor I can tell you a lot about the engine failures and rebuilds - I also use an ex porsche master tech who now works for McLaren in Solihull - he uses his mates ramp on the weekend and labour cost three times cheaper then indys or Porsche . I just buy the parts from Porsche. Pm me if you want to chat on the phone as far too much info to give over typing. I can explian what to look out for and my man mathe behind buying a 997.1 . 997.2 DFI are now scoring too as many going into Hartech now not worth the premium and 997.1 better looking cars. The safest car in the 997.1 range is a manual 3.6 carrear- worst at auto 3.8 s = of coursre tubo and GT cars have the bullet proof mezger block - dont over look a 996 turbo with a mezger.
  8. How about a 30k kev mobile ? Mind you does look a clean car but I will never look at one different then a kev mobile. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/224416433792?hash=item3440430680:g:Y2sAAOSwTsRgbt1d
  9. Think I would rather have a helicopter at that price. The Audi S2 above didnt reach reserve at auction - got to 16k so I would say that's what a good S2 is worth these days = although Im sure they will double in the next few years ,
  10. Thanks ABV just glad to get a set with no nasty damage as these are getting hard to find.
  11. Finally managed to get a set of Sebrings minus the caps after the sebring split rim industry is swallowing the whole stoke like a fishing trawler. . Took the MK2 200 mile round trip to St Albans tonight and she didnt miss abeat- used only a third of a tank and flowed in with the motorway traffic - was a very sunny evening great to get out. The sebrings caps x4 can be purchased off this seller for 50 euro for x4 (will need primer and paint) who I know well have purchased a few itmens off him before in regards to votex consoles. He is also making Corrado window scrapers at x2 for 50 euros. Also worth noting my bumper and plastics after 6 weeks of Wruth plastic dye- awesome product. https://www.facebook.com/commerce/listing/792002994743550/?ref=share_attachment
  12. Its all I know and not ready to deliver Sainsburys groceries yet ha.
  13. I purchased 500 scaffold boards last month for under £9.00 each - this month they have gone up to £25.00 a board - there is a a shortage of wood and natural materials at the moment - I saw this coming so stocked up - I might even sell half of them- its a very good time to sell plant now or sell a business that owns plant. . This will also create plant theft . Also a massive crime at the moment round Birmingham is exhaust car cat theft- I know two people in the last week that have been victims and both been Jap cars- Its ran by Eastern European gangs and their favourite is a Honda Jazz that can bag them £500.00 - the lesser ones are bagging them £150- £250 easily- proper epidemic. The Hybrid cats fetch big money they love them. SCUM
  14. I remember seeing a white one for sale in Rugeley on a second hand car dealers about 12 years back it was very cheap I was tempted to view it- another missed opportunity same as another 964 2 coupe that was white in 2003 that had a 12 k tag - now 60 k value I imagine if kept in good order.
  15. Treated the car to a new registration and dealer decal designed by - Sticker Pig off facebook C6 ABV Corrado 6 cylinder ABV engine code. Check out the address of the dealer on windscreen decal. ha I could only find an audi version for them off google but changed the decal. to vw. Here is one of their stunning classic Audi 80 Quattro Helios Blue . SOLD for a whopping £86.5 K at auction less then 50 k on the clock wow !!!!! https://www.classiccarauctions.co.uk/events/2021-auctions/spring-live-online-sale-2021/spring-live-online-auction-2021/cars/1990-audi-quattro-20v
  16. Huge fan of the looks of esprit here wedge porn and they run rings round most cars on B roads. interestingly you mention the Pantera - guess who is building the gearbox - Andre Gemini Transmissions and I saw one in his workshop in Northampton . Pretty sre he mentioned 50 k lol .
  17. I have heard chris Ferry mention he had manual window parts in the past.
  18. Cool I have read you need to etch primer alloys so now this confirms it.
  19. Cool thanks- I think its fair to say the slave is the good cylinder and the masters are the real pain the ass ha.
  20. Would you mind if asked what paint did you use to spray your box looks very good. I know alloys paint can find it hard to adhere to. Cheers.
  21. I wonder if it has an A on then end as per etka. lol never easy been a corrado.
  22. Thanks mate I have the same issue still got the original one on my car and cant see it- I just want to put in a new slave with the gearbox rebuild - good sign if the sachs is stamped .
  23. Here is a genuine one described as an A on the end of part number as described by etka for corrado , but I cannot see no A on the end of the cylinder on photo. It is an FTE one but surely the stock one was ATE ? https://vwpartsinternational.com/shop/electrical-engine-parts/vw-golf-mk3-vr6-clutch-slave-cylinder-genuine-oem-vw-parts-brand-new-357721261a/
  24. Ok thanks for the info and photos much appreciated is the FTE not ending with an A by chance if it has a vag number - I have a Sachs clutch as well - was the sachs a direct fit ? You would like to think the Sachs one is newly manufactured not a recon like some of the Brembo stuff knocking about any hard press stamps on on the sachs. I believe the fte one to have a wider rod 23.8 mm and ate 23mm - could be wrong though. . Cheers.
