Thanks but cant fins a box like that - could do with one that opens up and closes around the relays as loom all ready constructed.
-
Im wondering if this would big big enough to take the relays. https://www.mdnsupplies.co.uk/shop/splashproof-plug-cover.html
-
These look damn good as well marine ones. All the fuses and relays tucked away in a nice dry place. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Universal-Waterproof-Relay-Panel-Marine/dp/B01FWILJQI

Anyone got a link for something suitable ? Thanks

Will do- these with a three relay might work well - in hindsight could of been built into the looms > waterproof relay box. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/6-Relay-5-Road-Auto-Relay-Holder-Box-Socket-Fuse-Waterproof-Lid-Insurance/184381992607?hash=item2aee05ee9f:g:6VEAAOSwEJlfIvkb

Hmmm mine stays nice and dry my car is parked on a sloped drive maybe that helps also have new water channel buffers opposite side of internal scuttle trim. Also kept in front of battery .

So my car is in the body shop for some winter loving. Bonnet off plus front and rear bumpers spray paint (stone chips) + all new bumpers irons brackets, clips and bolts. To my horror got a call off the body shop and said you need a new radiator. Picture below of these chinesium alloy radiator (it was the only off the shelf option at the time 3 years ago- Im not one to cheap out on parts. ) All these alloy rads look the same but have different branding on the graphics of advert. You can see the frame has failed and bowed at the bottom and also leaking. Im hoping this radiator from German company Dasis which is OE fitment is better then the alloy one. Pictures below - I was thinking about getting an alloy neck fitting but decided to go with a vag one as im sure I have seen mixed reviews on the billet ones ? Let me fit the Dasis radiator and I will give a review of fitment at least. Can get one from Autodoc for £100 or an English seller that delivers next day for £120.00. https://www.dasis.de/en/

Yeah mate some mug could buy that.

Fen the ripoff NOS is 100 percent a Heritage genuine reproduction one you can tell by the label on the packaging- that seller is on moondust. I suppose this time of the year they can catch out family members of Corrado owners buying them Xmas presents for their cars.
-
I hate seeing this. Can still get these from classics or Heritage new for £65.00 ON ebay for x5 cost off a greedy seller. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-Corrado-Grill-3-Slat-NOS/254801380636?hash=item3b5358851c:g:iYEAAOSwvi5fzpGI Someone is bidding on these you can still buy them from the dealers for £65.00 - upto £99.00 all ready with 6 days left. Purchased a set last year. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-CORRADO-RHD-GENUINE-4-piece-black-carpet-mat-set-with-emblem-863VAG1418BJ-NOS/174555033334?hash=item28a44a6ef6:g:pWAAAOSwUAdf02W- Picture is just illustration part number is correct. https://store.inchcape.co.uk/collections/volkswagen-floor-mats/products/vw-carpet-mat-set-863vag1418bj

I think your loom might be a later style loom if there is such a thing as the wrapping looks different,
-
Here is a picture of your Loom .
-
Im not sure but there is a round earthing circle in front of the drivers seat to the right of the fuse box by the A pillar it is where you earth electric seats from recaro . I cant remember where it goes but I removed that Loom that Matt has . 😬 Easypops is pretty good on seat looms.
-
I have one of these on my car if you don't want to mount the relays- I just pop them in the bag keeps them nice and dry. Tidy in the bay as well and protects battery tray from leaks of battery and of course protects battery contacts from elements, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Car-Battery-Cover-Frost-Protection-Thermal-Wrap-Battery-Pocket-NEW-45-65-Ah/113928931467?_trksid=p2485497.m4902.l9144

Lovely Bubbly for those that cant wait. Sure the horror stories and photos that I have seen from the Mk2 of fires been caused by the DDR Im not risking it- in the Mk2 though where it is located it is liable for the cable of the dim to rub on the chassis leg.
-
Worded bad mate Quality is good. Is anyone going to use the dim dip resistor - I have had mine unplugged due to them causing fires basically. What is the plug with the one grey cable for- mine is a spare if the Rayne one ever fails but this one looks better quality.
-
Got mine today - one word Quality ok and another thanks .
-
Im for the speelines out of the two above - bit unfair having the Speedline at the rear as that arch never fills as much as the front - car sits higher on rear axle= Matt Webb got some cracking alloys from speedline in 16 recently. . If that is your only set of speedlines keep em.
-
Here are some pictures has been stored indoors. As mentioned sold unknown condition therefore has been priced accordingly at £65.00 for parts . My 95 VR has a black sticker with a part number starting 1H form memory so no point me keeping it.
-
Yes it is a 6 branch one - it was a 16v but one of the previous owners upgraded all the brakes and also the abs unit. Can get some pics if your interested - cut the brake lines going into it rather then unbolting everything as acts like a bit of a seal for the unit whilst in storage- also put into plastic bag tied up . Has the part number on the unit. Its been priced as parts as do not no if in working condition.
-
Yes very good upgrade Stealth uses this on every chain renewal including my own car. Stealth also uses the Febi chain kit.
