Im actually on the hunt myself for Gamma 3 for my Mk2 golf as its 91 model- I know for a fact that Gamma 3 came on USA Corrado in till about 93 so is correct factory unit but after Gamma 4 . Gamma 3 tend to be double the price as gamma 4 as rarer because I suppose older and less for sale.

Your getting it wrong chap Im saying yes to Gamma 3 I like it - the picture above is a very rare version of Gamma 3. its with a CD input to right bottom of it- so I set you a challenge see if you can find one. It has the CD point very rare they never come with them so very sought after.

Ok ABV you win im not sure how many way the speakers are on a gamma 3 but its 4 way on a gamma 4 , I set you a challenge try and find this rare Gamma 3 released in the USA market with an aux which the standard do not have, .

The Gemma 3 has dimpled buttons that match the early style switches in the dash and the gemma 4 has the same style as the lastee dash - you could buy a cd changer with the gemma 4 the complete package - you can still buy the loom for the cd changer etc. That is the way I would go chap. In this case he owned a white one at the time and purchased this to replace the other golf but the old one kept going so this just stayed in the garage ha- I would love a sniff of that interior.

Update don't buy this sits to high in a corrado to work smoothly- go for Dave short shift kit or 02J tower change- also a Mk 4 handbrake and gaiter is a nice mod will need a little modding to fit. . The short shift is advertised for a Corrado but the seller expects you to bend the ball housing down which is not happening on my car- seller told me in Germany on phone on all VR6 models they sit a little lower so work perfect but just Corrado sits higher )so why don't you put that on sale description ) hey ho !!!

I do like the Blaupunkt but the display is orange and faded - would like green to match the dash - the blaupunkt windsor , london, Freiburg etc all seem to have orange display. I suppose I could put in another Gamma 4 as they are a great unit with matching display The gen three stereos tend to have 4 circular holes for release that gives away the age . One day it will just be digital so probably worth getting the modern Bremen, This is mine .

Vote for Gamma IV here - same plastics as factory and great quality unit with green illumination same as dash . . Pictures below of factory brochure and in my car. You can buy kits for these for bluetooth hands free etc. They cam in Passats and other models ran from around 95 to 99 I believe . You don't realise what bad condition these scrapers are in = if you take a picture of one with the camera you will see cracks in them - I think I will buy two sets of they ever become available tbh.

ABV this is the part number from factory for a front green windscreen. 535845011C I have searched ebay for you. 535845011C From factory from parts diagram they has two options clear or green tint.
