  1. Looks like the top part of the inner window scraper that sits on top of the door card.
  2. Nice mate coming on now/
  3. I Know Robin for Stealth did this job recently to one of his Corrado and he had to cut get a cut from the front of the A pillars back to the sunroof from a donor card- was a very big job - fabricating needs to be absolute spot on otherwise the window won't quite house correctly and water ingress will continue - need to get the window out and have full inspection so will interesting if you could report beack what is lurking unserneath. I would say the glass has been changed out at some point and the window fitter damaged the frame whilst cutting out the old glass.
  4. Chap I understand your attachment to the car but is it time to reflect? - there was a lovely 16V red as discussed earlier today on here with low mileage and popping paint . I had a leak through the lower door seal but it was actually the door card had come away near the corner towards the front of the door. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/birmingham/search/?callsite=commerce_mktplace_www_hoisted_pdp&hoisted_item=743780093115780&query=corrado
  5. Good on you mate I would of gone for the same option . If you still have the topran one you could weigh them to see if the rubber is denser which I think would suggest it is better quality.
  6. Who knows chap been advertised by a lady on FB- as soon as you said you saw a clean red valver and in Staffs I knew it must of been the one. Looks a great little car - get some black leather in their would look the business. Could well of inherited the car chap . Maybe knock the door with 2K and go for it mate - flashy flashy money most will take ha.
  7. Will be this one Ben I noticed on marketplace Facebook for sale. Based in Cannock. Great paint work by the looks of it and only 87K on the clocks- great car for what there asking realy and I bet if someone was looking you could get it for 3K. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/birmingham/search/?callsite=commerce_mktplace_www_hoisted_pdp&hoisted_item=743780093115780&query=corrado
  8. They look so nice when out of paint - Im wondering is the car going to be on the road this summer mate- are there projects that you are finishing off before fitting her out ? I want to see her finished will look the business.
  9. Thanks Cres arrived today - let me know if I can ever help out with anything. Cheers Chap..
  10. Used what I had left of the loom and plugged them in - got a 20 inline and fuse and attached the loom to a spare battery- all motors and switches working- not eating the steering wheel now thank god and seats are so much better then stock for support now in my driving position!
  11. Yeah agreed not essential just the movement- got to admit i would be happy if the seats came manual fromfactory - less to go wrong .
  12. Hi anyone know if the inline fuse should be a yellow 20 a ? Thanks
  13. Great news I will send you a pm as your about 2 hrs from me I think as in Brum . I’ll pm you address later and payment . Cheers also great info .
  14. Had no ides chap= not had the leatherettes of so who knows whats# is lurking underneath - hopefully as they came from Amsterdam a huge bag of narcotics so I can get a bit of a rebate off them ha joke!. Ok chap any help is useful and I wouldn't mind knowing if relays are not performing as they should allowing higher settings on switch. Thanks
  15. I would say that cable hanging out is a new motor put in at some point and they took a crude shortcut prehaps.
  16. Lost me there chap . They are Recaro heated and drivers luke warm and I the passenger just about working. .
  17. Pictured of where my motor loom had been cut off. All the rest intact.
  18. Ok TD tanks for the info - I think that cable hanging out the backrest must be from one of the motors as to chuny for a heat loom.
  19. There are two options available but only for the back rest not the seat pad . No 4 on diagram. No 1 must be obsolete as cant find them. Late 535963557A early 535963557B http://www.oemepc.com/tvn_result/search/tvn/535963557A My heated seats are working same as my stock ones but barley lukewarm. Was wondering I fitted a new heated seat switch with the 5 settings - my relays are working and can hear them clicking when turned on - is it possible old relays do not respond on higher settings due to getting on a bit ?
  20. This is a great thread on a corrado loom and part numbers. Pete the pug putting on part numbers and pictures. https://forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.php?7793105-power-recaro-4pin-p-n-to-fuse-panel
  21. Ok thanks td and dox for link. The only other fault apart from that is the heater element cable is looping quite far out of the seat )6 inches ) on the back reat and I don't think the heating is working on that one- you can still buy an early and late heat element for the back rest but don't know how old my seats though the stock seat heated looms plug into the base plug on the recaro- am I correct in saying the stock heat loom should work with the recaro ? ? Thanks Something iffy going on here= this would of been the drivers seat because LHD model. Cannot see cable on the other seat it is hidden - butcher been at play by the looks of it.
  22. Thanks Shaun . Just the cable end fuse box for the motors - red live single pin and the brown single pni- clearly when stripped from car they just chopped off the fuse box end for convenience I suppose- have already sourced the fuse box connector 161 937 501 that the fuse goes into. All ready have the stock heated loom in place so all good on that. Need part number 701906231 live red + 3A0 922751 brown earth Picture below of the plugs I need if anyone can help- thanks. Anyone know what fuse it should take ? Is it a 20A yellow fuse by chance ? Thanks
  23. Nice one chap with some of them numbers starting with 191 I imagine its the same pump for a Mk2 golf 16V 1990 late big bumper ? Thanks
