Help identifying missing front plastic molding
Keyo replied to jadevolley's topic in Newbies Hangout
I can tell you a part that some of you may never have spotted that might well be missing. There should be a rubber buffer either side under your spoiler on each corner. Amazingly one side is still available for a whopping 16 euro for a wee bit of rubber. -
Help identifying missing front plastic molding

Its always worth checking classics site because sometimes Heritage don't update their system that is is available. This the case with one of the window seals- and no not the widow scraper Im afraid but the surround window seal as only shows one is available and they still think only one is available ! -
Cool good luck do like a Kamei kit on a Corrado .
-
Nice looking highly specced Rado with desirable colour combo.
-
Don't do it, is absolute butchery cutting holes in your spoiler imo and looks like an outdated led light from 2008. . Keep the Rado retro. .

You can still get the one side from Heritage but the other is obsolete. Also behind that there should be a protective case for the pulley wheels and aux belt which is still available as well. -
Hi Tony, Sounds good to me chap does the old one pop out I have a couple of good used ones in spare complete mechs but wanted a new one to match all the other new parts on my mech, just my ocd playing up again . Thanks

Thanks Sean. I stuck it back on then a few seconds later I thought never seen that mark on the pattern before before, then it just bubbled right in front of me and I swore loudly ha !

Well done that look mint SI.

Such a crazy design putting a plastic swirl pot casing under the car next to an exhaust.
-
Would be great if you could by one off them for under a £100 they cost a lot of money !

Very helpful skilled member off here made me this as I destroyed my old one glueing it back on to the gearknob. Nice little mod at the bottom to match my decals. Numbers are the same as OE pattern. Word of advise if your OE pattern falls of the knob replace it back on with double sided tape as normal liquid glue bleeds through to the pattern decal and bubbles it up.

Looking forward to getting these fitted . Hopefully work as purchased second hand.

Hi, I have managed to source some new parts form classics and new OE wiper Mech motor. I just need two new parts to complete a whole new wiper Mechanism Part Numbers I require are Operating linkage Part No 536955325 (annoyingly sold a few new ones of these last year ) Drivers wiper securing nipple 536955216 Green circles indicate where missing parts go. All the parts you can see are still available from classics however the long silver rod is obsolete but an english seller on ebay has a couple new old stock for sale. Thanks

Good luck with this mate , really is worth somone sending a Corrado KR OE swirl pot to Pro Alloy to be reproduced, Below is the MK2 Golf 16V that they sell all ready. I have two spare swirl pots for my KR Golf but this is the route I would have taken. Although they do cost a lot so would've left me grumpy for a few days. http://www.proalloy.co.uk/cgi-bin/sitewise.pl?act=det&pt=&p=2901&id=proalloy

Spend some time on this site and you will be more helpful to yourself then any customer service from VAG and Heritage, I have to tell them they are incorrect all the time . http://www.oemepc.com/tvn_result/search/tvn/357919077B
