This is the part number for the blue high beam it is not a diode. 357919062
-
You can still get the bulbs mate from VW Classics Via Heritage got one last year. I believe you have written the wrong number for part. Im pretty sure Arz tuning do the bulb its called a diode I think. Should look like this but in blue. Could be that your headlights are not functioning correctly. Should be a common part I guess if its a diode.

What 80's - 90s cars for sale have caught your eye recently.

Nice looking Mystic. https://www.gumtree.com/p/volkswagen/vw-corrado-storm-/1365897898 -
Yep all extra money will going on my Corrado this year grump grump ha. The inline fuse water can get into the casing it houses into - I shrink wrapped my new one with electric tape, the handmade battery bags off ebay, if you could ask the seller to make a pouch on the front of the battery bag with a flap you could put all the relays and fuse in there to protect it.
-
My drivers side headlight packed in the other week mate, I replaced the yellow fuse inline on the uprated loom and relay and all good now thankfully. Also gave the contacts on the battery from uprated loom a good electric clean.

What's the most non-intrusive way to make say... 250-300ish (crank) hp?
Keyo replied to corrado33's topic in Engine Bay
Can make 230 at least with a Schrick VGI and 268 cams- that is the period mod to raise power= however your issue will be obtaining a Schrick or a VSR manifold, Schrick 268 cams are ready available. For higher gains Supercharger or Turbo. Will need to go to OB2 really for this -
Bit of an update with the car. As many of you know my car was up for sale last year. I pulled out of a deal with a buyer for 9K and then he upped it to 10K to get me to release the car. However I thought it was not the right thing to do as my car always drank a little bit of oil but as the process of sale was going on I could start to smell a burning oil. I spoke to Vince and he advised that it would be a mixture of failing vale seals and ovulated cylinders, at this point I told the seller unfortunately the car was not for sale ( I just said I wanted to keep the car but the truth of the matter was I would not sell a car and ask for good money unless it was justified (treat folks how you would like to be treated). The good news is Vince has purchased the larger pistons as the car is going up to 3 liters and a complete engine rebuild this year with new pistons. bores - bottom and top, chains etc.. Each piston will be measured precisely and block bored out accordingly to each piston- will be precise engineered. If I do ever sell the car this will be added onto to the valuation as this will be one of the most sorted VR6 on the market by the time its complete- however I cant see me letting go of the car in the near future. Schrick will also be sent to be professionally polished. Other recent works. Battery trays sanded down and painted/Lacquer. Insulation 150 mm spoonfed splitter and new bolts and Iron to fit. Sourced complete new bumper heat shield, bumper brackets front and rear and bolts and plastic clips and getting the bumper irons powder coated at some point- also inspect inside these areas whilst off for body work condition. Sourced complete new wiper mech and motor just missing one link and one nipple. Headlight metallised and new OE adjusters - uprated loom refurbished. Various engine bay brackets powder coated. Have ordered a new windscreen seal the one that meets the roof, had bad wind noise at high speed in the cabin, noticed that the seal was coming loose in places , pulled the seal off and the good news is the surround is clean and rot free- looks like an aftermarket seal so ordered a OE VW seal from Heritage. Top of gear knob pattern fell off and stuck it back on with glue, warning do not do this it bubbled through and destroyed the shift pattern decal, only use double sided tape !!!! Have an intermittent spoiler at the moment, I believe it is the Relay so trying to source a used one as the 60mph relay is obsolete, or as mentioned mech needs a clean out and lube. It really is none stop and a huge expense but believe Im not far away to having a fully restored Corrado. For anyone cotemplating a full renovation of a Corrado to the lengths I have gone to I would budget between 13- 15K . Would I have undertook this task If I had known, probably not to be honest. However when complete the car will have an uprated engine block good for +100 K, VDO gauges , Schrick VGI , black leather and desirable magic black paint scheme , so go find me another ??? Just need the Recaros front seats.

What's the consensus on aftermarket Rado sway bars and/or strut bars?
Keyo replied to corrado33's topic in Drivetrain
I have Eibach anti roll bars and bushes . My car handles like its on rails to be fair. Had mine refurbished last year, powder coated from the old red to black and new bushes which you can buy stand alone. Complete kit with bushes. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-Golf-Mk3-2-0GTI-16V-2-8-VR6-01-92-07-98-Eibach-ARB-Kit/141037083755?epid=1954365861&hash=item20d6771c6b:g:wVkAAOxyVVJSCoyX If you click on my photo album link there is a good picture of the underside of the car with if fitted has the red bushes. https://photos.app.goo.gl/KofL9bRESGSeZJv47 -
Bringing back alive. Hi is this the correct part number for a late VR6 1995 60 mph spoiler control module. Diagram No6 my chassis is on a S . Can't work it out. http://www.oemepc.com/vw/part_single/catalog/vw/markt/RDW/modell/COR/year/1995/drive_standart/76/hg_ug/937/subcategory/219015/part_id/0/lang/e Cheers.

Think I had the JP group one fitted last year. Had a new Topran oil cooler installed and a couple of months later the cooler was leaking into the coolant , had to drain the whole system and then fitted a Hella oil cooler. I will never touch crapran again.
