You can buy the black ones direct from Heritage . Also the silver ones can be purchased from Classics ordered through Heritage, One of those rare moments where you have a choice of OE Corrado parts. I believe this was stock for a Polo but none the less is exactly the same but in black. https://www.vwheritage.com/357853601b-rear-vw-emblem-in-black-vw-spare

Anyone got a link ? Thanks

The doors can start getting stiff when the hinges start to fail as the weight of the door is partly been distributed on to the striker which it should not, an old trick is to put some timber and cloth under your door at the corner and jack it up a little, however the proper fix is new hinges and pins . To check your hinges lift the door up on the corner towards the rear of the car and move it up and down and see if there is play in your hinges. Even better if you can get someone to do do whilst you watch . Its normally the bottom one from memory.
-
It could be due to the hinge starting to drop and also striker pin. Lift your door up and down and see if there is play in the hinge weld or hinge pin . Also check your catch on the striker pin.

You need 2 or 3 of these 1H0129833

I take it the knurled handle is meant to spin up and down the thread because mine has rusted on the end. Also the sleeve inside has snapped on both also casing that fits in housing is loose with cracks . Looks like I'm going to have to buy some adjusters, I suppose I could see it as £250 for basically new headlights (reflectors) and that adjust properly. I imagine all the second hand light available will be in poor condition so do not think it was better to buy some second hand headlights.
-
Yes I think they are no good. However I have found some new ones for sale but please sit down when looking at the price. https://www.arz-tuning.de/shop/en/adjustment-knob-vertical-height-adjustment-corrado

The handle and the internal sleeve are fragile it is a very poor quality plastic. The white bits on the end that house the reflector are better quality and were still very strong. Looks different then the Corrado one but seen these and says fits. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VOLKSWAGEN-FRONT-HEADLAMP-HEADLIGHT-ADJUSTER-SET-SCREW-BUSH-CLIP-KIT/192933421670?_trksid=p2485497.m4902.l9144 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VOLKSWAGON-CAR-HEADLAMP-HEADLIGHT-FULL-ADJUSTER-KIT-SCREW-BUSH-CLIP-SET/152604842890?fits=Model%3ACorrado&hash=item2387f51b8a:g:jicAAOSwbtVZS8FN

£20,00 each from stealers. Got two of them.
-
Going call the stealers now and try and beat that price .

Good to hear a good reference - he mentioned the problem with the factory ones is they have no lacquer but thankfully Dual put an additional lacquer on them so should last a long time.

I just looked at the adjuster and a bit fell off the handle ha. My adjusters will no longer adjust as to fragile but are intact enough to to secure the reflector to the headlight. Just wish you could buy them new to finish off the refurbishment ! You don't actually have to touch the adjuster to remove the reflector, just unlip the internal whaite clips. Strangely enough my passenger side was dull as dishwater but drivers not to bad although showing some wear. Dropped them in this morning and will collect in a few days. £125.00 + Vat But I always take a walking stick with me when getting a price face to face - joke ! I imagine easypops has 10 sets of the adjusters under his pillow

I'm going to ring up the steelers tomorrow and see how much I can lowball him ha.
-
Thanks lads I'll be buying another drivers side, I do have a sneaky feeling my links are starting to get old as sometimes the passenger wiper slams the bottom of the plastic window trim, trim with screw in the corner.

Bringing this back alive. Sick of the candles have changed to Osram laser halogens and also have uprated loom, problem is the reflectors have lost there shine. Will get a price off these guys tomorrow. In my home city. http://www.dual-metallising.co.uk/gallery-reflectors/

Ok thanks that may be my problem then. 100 percent sure chap it's two drivers side rubbers chap? I have at present on passenger side the LHS rubber part no 1J2955425B (lupo GTI LHS passenger) Heritage advertise the one for Corrado passenger maybe that is what caught me out. https://www.vwheritage.com/1j2955425b-passenger-side-wiper-blade-19-inch-vw-spare
-
Thanks mate as you say its all about the ride height of the seat due to the base - but the S specialist looks the way forward IMO.

Hi bringing this back alive. I have some Lupo GTI wipers on my car which are two rhd (drivers side) Part number 6X2955410 C Which is correct. I have a bit of screen been missed in the middle more passenger side by the wipers. I have replaced the blades with VW OE lupo GT blade wipers left and right . Still no joy. Question is are you meant to have two interchangeable RDH (drivers side blades) as I changed mine with left and right. To simplify do I buy two drivers side replacement for both wipers or I was correct buying left and right side? Thank you tried searching on here but could not find the answer.

No worries mate did you get the Golf anniversaries in Canada ?
-
I have a set of BBS RX2 they are a great alloy and direct fir. I also have BBS RS 771 or known as the anniversary split rim alloy these are easy to get hold of and priced in the £300 mark in the UK. Basically they are a split version of the BBS RX and came on Mk3 and MK4 golf anniversary cars. Both 16 and 6,5 J or 7J 5 stud direct fit. You can see the RS771 on my car black magic http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?109949-Black-magic-returns-home/page6&highlight=black+magic 25 mm lowering springs Tyres 205/45/ R16

Sent these questions to seller. Hi, Do these allow for recaros seats to be installed to a 1995 Corrado over the carpets. Will the seats fit higher in the car? The car seat will tilt backwards and back and forth in the track ? The tracks on top of your frame are these the ones that come on the bottom of Recaro? Any cutting or modifying need doing? These are the seats I would like to fit to my Corrado. Thanks https://www.recaro-automotive.com/en/comfort/recaro-specialist
-
Thanks have you seen the base I posted mate looks like they will work but not sure, what do you reckon ? Appears you jut put the frame on the original tack and then the recaro seat runners on it , it has an adjust height at the front with different holes for the seat pin . I would ask the Recaro to do the embroidery in black to match factory.

Ive not looked for any yet bet I know there are members on here that have the knowledge to share on here. The sciroccos seat bases are lower. Guys are the MK2 a direct fit I know they sit higher but look what Ive found below on ebay modified ones that are lower Would these be a direct fit. They say fit Corrado . Says best offer so I reckon you could get a pair for £100.00. So with new custom seats and frames looking at around £1600.00 all in https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mk1-or-Mk2-Golf-Custom-Seat-Frame-one-frame-only/114059183556?hash=item1a8e7505c4:g:kLkAAOSwT9Nd77DP Another seller read description normally £110 for pair https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mk1-mk2-Golf-Seat-Bases-for-recaro-sparco-universal-seats/123917126534?hash=item1cda094b86:g:HfEAAOSwzBJdCHyn
