  1. Ive put it off for a long time due to no space in garage and it being FREEZING outside but i pulled my finger out of my nose and cleaned up the garage yesterday(took me 2 hours) and tonight i gave the wheels one more polish then a good rub-a-dub-dub and now started to lacquer them... i know this will prob crack and might not stay on the alloys due to polish but to be honest as long as it might protect them for a little bit im not bothered! Got the wheels for £60, some polish for £1.50 and lacquer for £15....oh and a bloody lot of elbow grease! Not bad for a home-made effort!

    18" wheels

i would think you'd need a high low offset so the wheels dont catch the inner arch. But i can garantee your going to get loads of replys from other people saying 'dont get 18s, car handles crap' oh and BTW, try the search!
  3. when you buy the locking wheel nut kits you get a bit of paper that give su the Key number so you can get another one from the manafactures. but thats only if u brought the locking nuts in the first place.
  4. tell them to fuck off, refuse the first 2 offers, they will try and pay as least as possible! Get cut outs from auto trader, ebay, parkers price guide etc. send them all to them WITH pictures of your car when it was mint before the crash! Hope you get it sorted! Ive had 4 accidents, non my fault and have had to go through the crap of insurance pay outs so many times, its shit!
  5. My car used to.... Idle so lumpy the revs would go right down to 0 and cut back in and nearly stall and be all over the place. Cut out when coasting to a halt. When i dipped the gas the revs would drop then go up! Well i brought contact cleaner from maplins... http://www.maplin.co.uk/free_uk_deliver ... r_4153.htm and sprayed it all over MAF inners and the MAF plug (had green corosion on it), i then i let it dry. and now the car idles PERFECTLY and doesnt stall or revs drop at all! im so happy!
  6. do i buy either 1) miltek exhaust system with Cat by-pass 2) coilover kit? Ive got my alloys that i am doing, but not sure what i want more, zorst or lowering? I get a coilover kit and slam it, which will look cool, but then a nice exhuast would be nice.... ok, a coilover kit so i can slam it, tell me which one to buy for about £400.. cheers guys.
  7. lmao, ill sign my ass if you want, these fucking things saying, sign up now or you will not meet the love of your life, PATHETIC!
  8. Again, this isn't to get them looking 100% brand new, just better then they were before. this is how they were when i got them, they had been pro polished but that was 2 yrs ago and had built up crap since then. I then used a light wet+dry and sanded em down and used a metal polish Now i know u can see some light marks and scratches, i need to go over them again with a finer wet+dry which i haven't got, and i need to laquer them, not done that yet. took me hour to do one alloy, im pleased... Neil
