More likely you've fitted the wrong bulb or it's not quite seated right - remove it to test
-
Frost or stress maybe if not fitted right as it's bonded on the Corrado so is a structural part of the car or maybe something dropped on it.. You can only repair if less than 10mm - just get it changed on your glass cover
-
They changed the bolts with the MK3 type metal gaskets - you just need to lookup via your engine number if it's a late car - Info in link below http://www.vwspares.co.uk/corrado_gaskets.php

Pas bottle is available from Classic Parts!

It will be just air in the system mate - you need to drive it and do some figure or 8's in a car park etc - should quieten down after 50 miles or so!
-
:-) been there... it's a chain I think as there is one in Milano too!
-
lol! Hope someone restores if it is low mileage but I wouldn't pay anything for it!
-
Re-seat all the fuses / relays = I think the baking process sometimes causes issues
-
Yeah, I reckon it's the meter - try using a Fluke if you can or buy an old one off eBay
-
Any good body shop should be able to sort this in minutes - I had to get my MK2 done as the doors were sagging, they used some sort of blue plastic bush on the door - think it was a VW tool of some sort and adjusted the hinge pin - was like new afterwards!
-
Pretty much the same... ABS cars have slightly wider pads and plus suspension uses 5 stud discs. Early cars used the MK2 type calipers with an external spring and late cars used the MK3 type - all used a 38mm piston so these can be mixed and matched although best not too. MK4 calipers are the way forward!
-
It's not much different but you do have the Outlet for the pedal sensor which you could just leave... I think it's the same size The Master is different as is the res - I have a new genuine VW non ABS master for sale on here if you need... I'm just wondering if it will fit the ABS servo though - may be a different bolt pattern? Obviously there is the other bits like sensors and the abs rings which could be left but all the brake pipes will need changing... why do you want to remove? strictly speaking it shouldn't pass the MOT like this as if it was factory fitted with ABS it should have it but then I think these cars are probably too old for them to know on the computer and if it's removed completely then they won't be able to tell...

No that's ok but this was a post telling people where it could be downloaded from - we've already been threatened with legal action once from Bentley Publishers!

CV joint / hub nut / hub spline conundrum.. solved..
Supercharged replied to Jim's topic in Drivetrain
VW now do 'economy' CV joints - should be less than £50 inc vat Have you looked at the CV yet? count the splines - I reckon it's ok and will fit - may just need some persuation... -
I just use these Matt black dashboard wipes - comes up like new! ---------- Post added at 11:15 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:14 PM ---------- http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_782321_langId_-1_categoryId_165651 Usually bought for £1 when on offer in Tesco or Wilcos

Good man! Wouldn't worry, you can try it first but you'd want to fit it anyway... worth getting a new key cut also if it's worn for the sake of a few quid

I think Toad may have done some work on it also - worth a phone call as he never seems to be on here either... According to Euro's there should be 36 splines - can you count them on both VC and Hub? -

Mate - may well be worth asking Neil or G60Stoney what they know and where that odd CV came from that was on the car!? -
CV joint / hub nut / hub spline conundrum.. solved..
Supercharged replied to Jim's topic in Drivetrain
Just trying to think what else you can check - maybe count the splines and see what the difference is - i'll dig out the VAG manuals a bit later.. Something must be wrong and I suspect the CV but then i've heard more than one person having issues with new VW hubs ---------- Post added at 6:59 PM ---------- Previous post was at 6:57 PM ---------- ^ as above, could just be a very snug fit as the genuine parts will be more 'precision' made than pattern but I'd count / measure stuff first. Maybe speak to Vince and see if he's had any issues and take the bits over there on sat? -

Mate - go get a hub and CV from Euro or GSF and try this also (can take back if you don't use)
