  1. I think the shocks have already been put on the car... replacing them would mean stripping them down and doing the geometry again...
  2. Oh, they're actually 20Nm (15ft/Lb's) so you should be ok...
  3. Lippy, give us a pic or a part number... I have a mk2 linkage somewhere which isn't the same but I may have the bit your after...
  4. Yeah, your right Ben, same part number....
  5. I didn't think Cheese and Rice went together? Looking good mate but I hope we see you back in a Corrado one day! BTW - what happened to the Jetta?
  6. If you've not changed them since you've owned the car i'd change both the fuel pump and ECU relays for peace of mind!
  7. According to my mate at the dealer the retaill is £21 but I can get them for £17.50 inc vat... vwdeviant, Give GPC a ring and see if there price is similar, if not I can get them for you and send em down...
  8. Hmmm... I'll check, yours are the non split rim type wheels I take it?
  9. The scale will need to be quite low as I think these only need doing up to 10 or 12Nm IIRC!
  10. You'll only get them from the dealer so you may as well let them look up the part number then if they get the wrong ones it's their fault... They are about £18 each...
  11. Good good, the spoiler motor has a thermoswitch cut off and the control box stops trying after 12 seconds so it may have been jammed and you've just freed it...
  12. Yeah - hers is only on 80k and it's had oil changes every 5k miles and coolant changes every 2 years since new so should be ok! What mileage was this on? did you find anything that may have caused it to go - must admit not sure what is inside the gearbox cooler, doubt that would get blocked tho...
  13. Yeah sorry, course they don't... This thread did worry me a bit - My mum has, you've guessed it, a MK3 AAM 1.8 auto...
  14. Are you fitting a new sump Tom? If not I wonder if it's warped... As Gav says, start them all off and move it about to settle.. if its not on yet then screw a bolt (preferably new) into each hole with a bit of WD40 to clean the threads, that should make it easier...
  15. There should have been a massive loss of power if that 90 degree pipe coes off!?!
  16. Yeah - maybe you just dislodged something... or the matrix valves were stuck closed....
  17. Is the mechanism free - can you wind it manually?
  18. The 115 and 130 drive about the same, fairly unnoticable lag and good acceleration in all gears with the 130 obviously feeling somewhat faster than the 115... The 150 is different... due to the FMIC you do get a noticable lag but when it goes, it really does go with an insane amount of torque!
  19. You should always add antifreeze tho as it's also anti corrosive and raises the boiling point of the whole system...
  20. We're talking VR6's tho, not 106's
  21. CorradoVR6-n.o.s, the 2.0 16v's are very sensitive to the settings, baud rates etc that you are connecting at, have a search on here as i'm sure RW1 has already posted some useful info about this...
  22. Daz - is that one the best one to use on a Corrado with a rallye intercooler or is the Corrado A/c one a better fit? - 535 121 251C (675mm)
