  1. Look Phil, we've told you before about making up place names, If you didn't see a Corrado over the weekend it really doesn't matter, no need to post up with some elaborate story - Sainsburys.. we all know you only shop at Tesco....
  2. VR rev counters only go up to 7k don't they??? - it's only 16V's that read upto 8....
  3. I think that second picture down should be the new banner!!!
  4. CaiosG60 PWR, ouch! - when was it last rebuilt??
  5. Yep, new ones are £28+vat from GPC...
  6. Check yer wiring if not, new bottle and cap as already mentioned.

    abs?

When you turn the ignition to stage 2, the ABS system builts up pressure and checks sensors on both circuits (hence the light flashing twice)
  8. 2cc, You can do the track rods in situ - just need to allign the rack so you can get to the end nut between the subframe and the wishbone, not the nicest of jobs!
  9. Yep, if it's on it won't work - did you restart the car to see if it cleared?? as mentioned already you need VAGCOM to find out where the problem is...
  10. Worked for me Rodders... maybe Pistonheads have the special software to stop Scott's accessing the classifieds
  11. ..But don't go into Halfords and ask for one, I got sent to this strange place across the road, nice enough people but no women whatsovever...

    abs?

I think the bleeps were coming from the stereo or imobiliser... The ABS sytem has no audio output.
  13. Look at the side repeaters... round repeaters = bigger brakes (or should do anyways)
  14. If you mean the one that goes over the track rod ball joint where it screws into the rack you just need to take the track rod end off and slide a new one on, I'd be tempted to replace the end and maybe the trackrod itself if the ball joint is worn (depends how long it's been leaking and how much grit got in there...) Also note you need to mark up exactly where the TRE meets the rod to keep the tracking correct.
  15. I still think thats the wax/finisher that does that - remember stuff always looks cleaner and shinier when wet and thats the effectively what that stuff does...
  16. Hmm, strange, maybe coming from the oil pressure/temp senders above the oil filter housing..??
  17. LOL - should say £8 above, not 8)
  18. Right, Mr One... Here is the stuff I use, just noticed it only says turtlewax on a sticker on the box and looks like it's imported from the states and distributed by them... I bought 2 of these from halfords when they were doing 2 for 1 on turtlewax stuff (not bad 4x500ml sprays for £8) The product code on the turtlewax sticker is 1-3961-340 The number below the main barcode is 70711 04515 It usually sits near the turtlewax stuff and next to some wheel cleaner which is also boxed like this... if you can't get it tho just by 'NV engine clean' or the autoglym engine cleaner (both pretty good and will do the part of the cleaner in this kit)
  19. Yep, i'd take a pic but my car is in the underground car park at work - Stevemac may have on in his gallery...
  20. Yeah, the OE glass is made by SECURIT, with the screen being structural (bonded) I'd demand an insurance company to use the original stuff...
  21. Or just fit Hella Minibar Deluxe instead....
