  1. Hi mate, I have a brand new VW MC if you want it (4 outlet) - £75, will be at the RR day. Servo - that will be slightly tricky to find one in good condition tbh...
  2. Nice one dude - see I said you should fit it - also kind of handy of the Corrado to do that just before the weather gets cold! That's the issue with second hand parts and we see it all the time with people on here, that one Kev sold you obviously worked for a bit but was probably still over 10 years old... hopefully you won't have anything to worry about for a while now.
  3. Oil is a good idea Wendy... This can happen with a worn key - have you tried the spare?
  4. Get the VW sealant mate - nothing works as well as this!
  5. Is it an AJM? If so will be HG failure
  6. Please don't brake a perfectly good G60 - they are rarer than VR6's now and that car has some good history recorded on here!!
  7. Yeah Elbow is available from Classic Parts - 6 Euro VW Rads were actually only £125 back in the day, I remember buying one for Dinkus and another for someone else.
  8. Did it come with the elbow though?? this is the issue with pattern rads, only slightly cheaper than VW and don't dome with all the parts.
  9. You've got the wrong pump, what car do you have?
  10. Yeah, VW now list a 6n polo part for the C, more robust
  11. I don't think the starter could have been tested properly unless that was faulty too - check engine earth's and battery as above. Probably an ignition switch fault if it's not been changed to a newer type.
  12. Yep, if you buy a new barrell it will come with a key but you simply need to (carefully) swap the levers over from the old to the new, when you insert the Key they should all go flush. Good idea to also buy a blank key and get it cut too if the old one is worn.

    ticking noise

Yeah, I know when I had a new stainless cat back system it ticked for ages but this did improve with age as it sooted up... I've never had a manifold but as Kev says it's probably just a feature rather than a fault, I think stainless expands a lot more than cast iron too which could also be an issue.
  14. VW or Classic Parts really as no pattern stuff available... What are you after? Wings are now obselete but most other stuff is available. A company called GPC also has some stock - they are selling door skins on eBay currently very cheap.
  15. http://the-corrado.net/archive/index.php/t-48190.html?
  16. Can be spot welded but fitting the 2.0 pulley system is the best way forward.
  17. Can't believe that pipe fits behind there!! Great work dude x
  18. Yeah, you can probably test this by unplugging the switch - if they stay on then deffo a loom fault.
  19. Yeah, I'd expect this to be a loom fault - look for relays near the battery
  20. Hi mate - Yep AJM (115) PD engine - now done well over 100k miles in a Corrado chassis. Mines quick but the ARL will be fantastic, still love the torque!
  21. Heh - it did need new handbrake cables but i've been wanting to do that for the last 2-3 years as they stick in the cold, otherwise it sailed through!
