  2. Neil - will take that door seal please - you've also put me down for a boost hose which I don't need but not allocated me the G60 fuel hose?
  3. Welcome to the forum... Misfires that go away at higher revs are usually electrical, have a good look at the HT leads (especially if original or cheap looking - BBT etc are awful!) - if you spray a mist or water over the engine in the dark you may see a few sparks. New Leads, Plugs, cap and rotor arm would be a good idea if you have no history of them being changed recently - also look for oil leaks into the plug holes from a leaky cam cover gasket.
  4. As above, A 92 VR should have a Distributor anyway - far more reliable that a coil pack!
  5. There was a good VW specialist in Skipton at the bottom of St. Stevens Close - not sure if it's still there though!
  6. I'll take the boot strut, sunroof cassette and brake press reg bracket, A/C heater panel and G60 fuel Hose please!
  7. That's mad, shouldn't even need a part number - you just need a standard crank bolt for a G60 (PG) engine!
  8. There are usually some on eBay - copper painted but fit well
  9. I'm up for this as long as it's not the weekend before or after the CC show... Kev - get yourself to the Classic car show (and top gear live) - really good show with lots of demo's / tools etc for sale!
  10. Yep - a short will basically show 50 - they go wrong because of the placement - around £8 from VW last time I got one
  11. ^ Yeah assumed so... The LED's people have soldered in have the inbuilt resistors to bring the voltage down - maybe to do with this?
  12. Got mine last week Matt - thanks for that! LED Lighting - Interestingly my MK4 clocks fitted to the TDI now work with the dimmer - they didn't at all before so I assumed the older type switches just were not compatible with the MK4 Blue LED lit (?) clocks. Assume this newer switch is out of a car of the same 'MK4' generation. Only complaint would be the switch is awfully stiff when compared to (brand new) Early and Late Corrado ones - hopefully it will loosen up in time or maybe some silicone grease will help.
  13. 280 mate - calipers are all 54mm though, the 280's are just wider than the 256's If you have fitted the 256's you may just need to but the matching pads which have slightly less meat on them
  14. As above - it will rattle without it!
  15. Could you PM me too next time you have a set please!
  16. I think it's got to be rings with that oil usuage... 165k is a lot of miles on a VR!
  17. 256mil - we're they cheaper than the 280's then??
  18. I was wondering who'd bought it - one of the very best examples I've seen there!
  19. Yep, but they would have had to do this after changing the slave... Best way to do it is with a EeziBleed kit (pressure bleeding) - just hook it up and open the bleed nipple on the slave - you only need to let around 200ml of fluid through for a full bleed.
