  1. Have you tried VW or Classic parts?? Not really worth getting a second hand one as they are always battered
  2. Hmmm - it must have been pretty bad to be a cat C mate... unless it's something special I'd find another - loads of cheap Corrado's on the market
  3. I'd be more interested in a 1.4 TSI engine in a Corrado - the GT one is 160BHP standard
  4. Yeah was going to say, remove the trim and test it first...
  5. I have one too but without cable (which you can swap over) - £5 posted for just the cap
  6. ^ Yep - see it as an oppotunity to fit a man in the shed Head... Headset + Bolts + cambelt Kit should only be around £100 or so
  7. Oh what - how old was the belt? Have you checked for damage - you never know you might find a new belt is all you need
  8. Just under the cover at the back - it's all in the instruction manual... Sidelights are ok but I'd advise taking the headlights out for any other lamp changes
  9. Welcome to the forum! They should be the perfect wheel on a Corrado - are you sure the other wheels didn't have spiggot rings that have left themselves attached to the hub?

Hi mate - I have a set and will sell at the right price, they are pristine and have nearly new Avon tyres too as I never used them in the end... I also have a spare rim and tyre of the same type. They are ET60 Audi fitment so require adapters to fit. I'm after £850 and based in Suffolk - if you fancy a trip up the A12 at the weekend then I'll be around!
  11. It changed when the VR came out matey - early cars have a bigger boot! You maybe able to swap the gauge on the clocks over
  12. http://www.volkswagen.co.uk/owners/accessories/convenience-and-protection?mark=corrado-1989-1995 No longer available but you sometimes see them at shows in Parts bins etc...
  13. I'm fairly sure you can't re-tumble the ignition!
  14. Yep - it's all in the instruction manual! Check your brake fluid level asap - if you're loosing fluid then suspect a clutch issue
  15. You can get them new mate for reasonable money, Kev just ordered one and I think Neil (Pat McCrotch) is going to also as we found his missing when fitting a new splitter yesterday
  16. I've had stuff from TPS arrive on my desk less than an hour after ordering!
  17. VW should be able to get it next day if you order before 3pm and they have stock in the UK or just try any Gates or Conti belt dealer
  18. Just take it to Halfords mate - they'll test it for free on a Bosch tester
  19. Are you using spring compressors?
  20. Check the ABS ECU if fitted before it's damaged Probably the scuttle seal or windscreen badly fitted
  21. Seat Ibiza's are the newest cars you'll find these brakes on
