Haha - no it's ok really... I would join you guys tonight but I'm out, hope you get it sorted though!

Welcome to the forum dude! :-)

Neil, I think it is a dead battery too as the siren was really quiet after we stuck a new fuse in... I think also that the alternator wasn't charging when you drove it with the clocks not working - this explains why you got 10 miles and it died... Kev - as I said to Neil I would try and fix it first with the alarm in as being original it actually looks really well fitted - the power to the siren etc must come from the fusebox as there are no extra wires from the battery apart from the headlight loom - again, looks pretty good quality.

Oh dear dude - hopefully it will get sorted without too much cost and also give you an oppotunity to sort the dash rattles etc out!

I assume that wasn't a VW dealer mate? Have you plugged it into VAGCOM?? If all they changed was the master there is no way the pedal should have felt spongey

This can't be that much of an issue - those breaks were standard along with 15" wheels on the Golf VR6, only the anniversary got 16's

This is exactly why we have the rules - I think you posted in the wrong thread though, do you want to post again in the other one? -
The admin of this forum has already been warned by Bentley publishers, please do not discuss piracy in any way on this forum. The book can be had for around £50 online which is nothing compared with the price of a tank of fuel these days!

Chineese MK2 Jetta Dash. Interesting....

Always liked the look of those lower dash shelves even if they require a bit of work to fit - the fit of some of the Corrado interior plastics is dire compared to a MK2 or 3 Golf! -
Indeed Yan, you should have seen the state of the 50 k mile one we saw - I nearly cried!

Does this mean we can stop driving round the country looking at cars for 5 mins then back again ;-)

To do with VR6 is cloth as standard, Storm was Leather as standard. So value of the car when new was higher. So higher insurance grouping. . I thought it was becuase they were faster in reverse?

What in red italics? Are you sure?

By April? It's £90 now for any Corrado owner with a 70Ltr tank... Diesels not much better - I've spent £200 on fuel this year already... 13 days in!!!

Supercharged replied to corrado_sunderland's topic in Wanted
Lemforder stuff is just like Febi though - lasts a couple of years then falls apart. Really best off sticking with genuine parts for suspension components, engine mounts etc.
