  1. Thanks Sean. If you can let me know as I'll be needing some soon.
  2. I believe the VW stuff is obsolete now but would certainly like to know if it's still available? The Dinitrol stuff can be brushed on but you'd need to try and texture it when applying (same as you would with anything). I really wouldn't think the seam sealer would be the same though.
  3. I think the UPOL grey stripe is a seam sealer that you put between joints / seams of panels and not an underseal. Dinitrol do one which is supposed to be the same as the VW stuff but not sure if it's grey, I'll have to check the part number. It's Dinitrol 447 and it says it's grey.
  4. you don't do things by half do you. Good idea hiding some of the wiring though, when I did the engine bay on my blackberry it looked great until the wiring was in place then it pretty much covered everything and it didn't look much different.
  5. Tough choice, £12,345 for that one or pay a little more and get a 1 owner car with 40k miles. Would be a difficult decision for someone I reckon.
  6. For me it would be silver with the main centre caps fitted.

    Brake pipe clips

I'm sure you can get them from VW still. If you look in Butterfly's storm thread, there's a picture of the 2 types on there, I remember from when I bought some a couple of years ago

    Brake pipe clips

There are 2 types on the vr6 rear beam depending on the age, the newer cars screw on and the older one clip on I think.
  9. Compomotive MO 17" 5 spokes look nice on a Corrado. There was a set for sale on here recently.
  10. Another one, how many is that now? Is that an S4 on your drive, I used to really want one of them when they came out.
  11. It's on again Saturday and Sunday night on the travel channel, stars in their cars.
  12. Watched this last night, Corrado looked great on it. What was hanging out of the boot?
  13. Nice one for sale at Fast Classics

    Ebay bargain?

The car is still for sale in Grimsby. The pistonheads is a scam as it says 'free delivery'! You pay the money and never see the car. I like the way it says 'it will only be advertised for 1 day', that's because pistonheads will pull the add tomorrow.
  15. There are 2 types on the VR subframe too, the only difference is the studs that the brake line clips fit on.
  16. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1996-Volkswagen-corrado-vr6-/172364077654?hash=item2821b31a56:g:mLUAAOSw-CpX9qZu This is the same car as the one in Grimsby! How's that work!
  17. I have a few of the old style A4 size magazines, let me know what issues you need and I can see what I have. I'm sure I have some of the first ones.
  18. Congrats!! Glad you had a great day and all the best to you both. The cake looks awesome! I guess Judith will be looking for a new registration plate now.
  19. Your misses must be a true gem for letting you have all them corrados on the drive. Would liked to have had a nosey round these as I'm in Glasgow on Thursday then on Saturday, unfortunately I'll either have a work colleague or the family with me and they don't share the enthusiasm. Keep the updates coming
  20. I thought you knew it was a dealer that bought it? What was you expecting he'd Put it up for?
  21. It's correct, they don't have clips there
  22. Rising prices is great for anyone who will want to sell eventually. If you notice though, all the +10K cars have really low mileage i.e. less then 50k and totally original. I don't think the dealers are bothered what car they are selling as long as it is low mileage and factory standard. I bet the 14K nova had almost delivery miles on it. If it was about the car, why has KIP's car not been snapped up by a dealer and put up for £20K+, his has to be up there with the top 5 cars in the country and its only 2 owners (I think). Just my thoughts....
  23. Looking good, your a true enthusiast! Do you mean the drop links? I got them from VW Heritage.
  24. I bought a new genuine VW expansion tank only because the old one was grubby and had it fitted by vw. This soon after started flashing, it was the pins in the bottle causing the problem
