I dont know anything about the redstuff pads. The green stuff ones work well with their own brand pads.. Calipers going red then??

The price is each... The discs come to 142 quid per pair and the pads are just over 50 quid..

Lamps glow - bulbs grow and all that... DDI are a company that make an aftermarket clock set up that glows red, have a search - there is loads of info in here about them..

Had a go at this thievening to clean the area around the BMC and the boiling water trick is the way ahead.. It softens the wax and then it just washes away... Ill be taking on the rest of the engine bay soon..

Although not a Forum member i just wanted to express my thanks to Stealth racing.. Having heard alot about them and visted them on a rolling road day i got in touch to purchase a BMC CDA. Placed the order after a very useful phone call on monday afternoon at about 1 in the afternoon and it was on my doorstep the next morning.. Id call that very good customer service...

My car isnt too bad under the bonnet but would like to try and improve it.. One of the probs i have is that the car has a coating of yellow wax oil type stuff and would like to know if anyone has any suggestions on how to get shot of it?? Anybody had theirs steam cleaned or recommends / doesnt recommend having this done??

My understanding was that when VW couldnt be bothered to manufacture the VSR they sold the design off to Schrick who make them to this day. That makes the prototypes like Chazrads rare as rocking horse poo, the VSRs very unusual and the schricks the norm but all with the same gains... The only advantage of the prototype and the VSR is that the spark plugs are accessible....
