  1. Well i can confirm that Rob is now the proud owner of an R32 lump following his visit to the North East yesterday.. Very interested to see how you get on, best of luck...
  2. Nice one Jim, sounds like it could indeed be VR time...
  3. Might be worth contacting Mr Renshaw himself, he does dash conversions if you offer hime the correct amount of cash...
  4. Ive got no doubt mate itll be worth it...
  5. Thats nice, good drop on the rims... Smoothly done..
  6. Looks nice mate, your going to be working with me next year so no doubt ill see this car a fair bit more once your finished in Pompey..
  7. Looks awful that mate... As if, looks the business. If you werent so far away id have a front bumper that id ask you to paint..
  8. Such a quality car, your mad if you sell it..
  9. I dont think a VR is much thirstier than a 16v, on a motorway run without ragging it mine sits at around 34 to the gallon....
  10. I didnt get a chance to bring them home to fit them so no pictures, may be after christmas now.. Do you reckon R32s would go behind them?
  11. I think they are polished from the factory Shaun although ive seen sets that have had the full bling treatment.. I reckon they will be great for brake clearance..
  12. Im not sure what they weigh mate, they do seem quite hefty.. These may be on at the weekend..
  13. yip thats a Mk2 and i reckon they are Ford seats...
  14. KW Variant 1s, i cant rate them enough.... Mine going to 17s next time its driven so ill have to move it to get it look right, coilovers only go down though..
  15. Earliest will be next weekend but its not that likely, just get them done, you know theyll look good..
  16. Darren said: your car was dropped to 585mm front and 600mm rear. these measurments are taken from floor to centre of arch. about mine and that was before it settled so its probably lower. Car drives 100 times better than standard, ok it catcheson the lip but i can live with that. Not harsh, crashy, just planted..
  17. I know what you mean Karl, but i fancy something a bit different, they dont have to be permanent and you could buy 5 sets of these for the going rate of RSs... I thought you might say Graeme.... They are a nice dark colour in reality..
  18. And new rims, not got these on yet as have just got them back from refurb. Have had them done in an Anthracite grey which looks darker than in the picture. Really pleased with them apart from one area which looks abit oversprayed but i know im picky..
  19. I agree its expensive but it looks like a bloody nice car to me..
  20. Some good effort gone into that, nice one.. Is that Solitaires old motor??
