I took delivery of my kw v1s this week, having read many hours on here & decisive help from people here am greatly looking forward to fitting them next weekend  Ordered mine by phoning kw, £610 delivered & made sure they were inox line :)
-
my ignition barrel is doing something very similar :help: its ok most times but in ever increasing occassions the key just wont turn in the barrel :( edit: from reading here it seems quite common for the barrel to wear out

I would be very interested to hear your opinion once you have them fitted. Are you fitting them yourself ?? I am in need of new suspension allround and am seriously considering these - but cant really justify the cost of V3s. I ordered v1s yesterday & plan 2 fit with my friend, also on to speedlines will let u know how it goes & try 4 b4 & after pics as mentioned in previous post, £610 direct from kw
-

-
hi kip if phil doesn't take ur old rad are u open 2 offers? I need 2 order 1 but am waiting for a new credit card :~
-
Thanks g0ldf1ng3r - yes I'm inclined to agree re the chemical treatment, VR's seem delicate enough in the cooling department. When you say £115 for oem - is that VW's supplier's price? If so who is that? sorry, when i said oem I meant non vw vw should be able to hit approx 150 if u push them enough 4 a discount :)
-
there is a great thread from oilman about synthetic vs mineral plus if u email oilman with ur car details he will recommend 4 u :)

ha nice!! my m8 commented the other day, when travelling to london & back from the midlands, that he saw 6 ferrari's but not 1 corrado.......common as muck i told him them ferrari's are!!
-
I spoke to my local vw last week as I too need to replace my vr's rad they quoted approx £180 + vat as list price but with some haggling I reckon they should go to about £160inc compared to approx £115 for oem I personally think it's worth t extra spend 4 genuine RE the rad seal, I think I hav read very bad things on here about using it on a vr.....thus I'm staying well away
-
sounds like whoever brought the rado got a right good deal!!!!! veedub to vauxhall :cuckoo:
-
ha ha ha!!!! pmsl
-
Don't you have to be within touching distance (or even within sight) to beat them through the twisty bits? ha ha ha ha ha!!!!
-
any chance of a link pls odub? purchase is pending :)
-
again thank you, superb info in the above post!! i would love the V2s but am flexing the card with the V1s as it is but the help on here has reenforced they are the ones to go for gona get em ordered & get em on
