Try greasing the handle and oiling the lock mechanism that picks up the stricken pin. Open the door and try a screwdriver on the leaver in the mechanism that picks up the striker pin on the door, the bit that moves when you close the door. You should be able to flick this lever over easily into the closed position, then operate the handle to throw the lever back in position. It should be easy without much resistance.

I think 93 went to chrome Corrado script and vr6, before that body colour script and red with black background vr6 on the back

Need some rubbers like these to go on the dowels/pegs on the bottom of the box too. https://www.vwheritage.com/171121276d-rubber-radiator-mounting-washer-vw-spare

Kudos and ace . It why we have a Corrado in the first. Also have working everything and audios cape door pods, very nice place to be.

Mines obd2 so don’t know if it’s the same but there is a step motor on the throttle body that can cause surging and funny revs, new throttle body fixed this. Spoiler could be fuse, wiring or control unit. When you turn the ignition on without engaging the engine you should be able to hear the auxiliary water pump for about 30 seconds then turn off, then you should hear nothing. Is this the case with your car?

No worries happy to try and help. When you could post pictures there was a similar topic in the thread below where I showed my rims to give an idea of the et in the arch. http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?110011-Correct-Wheel-Size-offset-BBS-LM/page2&highlight=Wheels Happy hunting

I have used Bermi coil packs and have not had a problem. Torpan aren’t the best by some distance. I would test from the coil pack one by one with the same lead.

I can understand what you are going through, we’ve all been there over the the years. You loose the love when it’s seems it’s one expensive kick in the nuts after another. I think winter makes it worse as well, when there’s so much darkness and rain. What ever you do, I hope it works out for you matey. As regard the rain cover I think it makes a bit of difference if you put it on upside down, it got a breathable membrane or summet.

They do different et as you say but not to et35, I think the closest was et25 May have been 30. Its because of dishes they make with the split rims, don’t think they do an outer barrel small enough. It was all explained to me sometime ago and I forget all the details, but after a lot of messing, for the money involved I didn’t go for them as I didn’t want stretch tyres again or arch work on the car.
-
I think stretch tyres on a wide big rim added to coil overs on a bit of drop is never going to be as nice over pot holes and speed bumps as standard 15” wheels. At the moment I’m running 17 x 7.5” et 38 with 215 40 17 tyres a lot better than 17 x 8” et 30 with same size tyre but stretched on. When I say better it’s not so dramatic on a bumpy roads and no rubbing or arch work needed but you’d probably be alright with et 35 with a 225 tyre on 8” but might be close on the inside rim.
-
I looked into Schmidt a while ago don’t do et35 and if you don’t want stretch tyres or rubbing you need that. I had some 7 x 8” et 30 stretched a bit looked great, rubbish ride and you need archwork if you go a bit low.

What et are they coming with in 7.5”

Some por15, a syringe, masking tape and some clean rag. Worked a treat for me on the side that kept popping out.

I had problems too. I got over it by accessing the FULL site on my phone and logging in normally. It wouldn’t let me log in on the mobile site from the phone. -
There are repair kits on eBay if it’s the zinc cast hammer bit that’s snapped.

Light steering could also be sign of tracking/geometry etc being off. Uneven tyre wear should back that up i.e. on edges. Over inflated front tyres can also make steering feel light, over wear in the middle of the tyre points to this.
-
Cutting the glass out is easy, compared to removing the front screen anyway. The problem lives in not damaging the rubber surrounding the rear screen. I got a new hatch through Herritage from Classic parts in Germany, the thing to bare in mind with this is it a USA hatch so has a hole in it for the 3rd brake light which I have also fitted, but getting it all sorted would seem a bit expensive to some.
-
Be careful as they aren’t all the same. The g60 has open slats on the ends for the brake air ducts.

Power steering pump replacement ... uh.... cooling line wtf?

What model Corrado is this -
A common problem lately. http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?110168-looking-for-a-radiator/page3

Is it the feed for the indicator on the wing.

Speak for yourself you woosy, that 6 seconds certainly seems to have made an impression on you though
-
Cheers dox. Forced induction definitely gives you a silly grin, but reduces distance between fuel stops

You’d think you’d need a specific throttle body and ECU to get it to work as it should.
