Also consider solid front top mounts to go with the coilovers, phatvr6 had them on his and im sure he rated em highly.

It should sit as the bottom pic.

Could it be the clutch not disengaging properly? Possibly needing bled through or a slightly iffy cylinder.

Sorry ReekieVR, thought id replied to this already. Yeah, im happy to half in for a pair of tweeters, just pm me about how u want to arrange it. Mine were running off the headunit, but i never have it on at the sort of volume that would damage the speakers.

Ive got the same speakers and 1 blown tweeter as well. Let me know if you find anywhere that sells them seperate or make an offer on my working one and ill have a think...

The back panel on mine looked similar to that a few weeks ago after an x5 reversed into me, the bodyshop managed to pull it out and sort it with a bit of filler no bother.

It does but I meant 480 for renewal. Admiral quoted me 380 and elephant cant match which I find strange as its basically the same company and theve matched it every other year.

Personnally im very happy with elephant right now, last years insurance was £680, just got this years renewal through and all thats changed is up to 4yrs no claims and im 25 now, £380 fully comp protected no claims 12 months. :D

A few weeks ago someone put in the drivers window of my car on a friday night, I thought it was just a random one off thing but last night the same thing was attempted again. Now my brand new drivers window has a big mark on it and my door is all dented. The house brick that was lying next to the car isnt the kind of thing that would have been lying about the street so for them to bring the brick with them suggests to me it was premeditated. Now, I dont have a clue who it could be, other than just some jelous prick so im thinking of hooking up some sort of camera at the window with something that will record for say, 24hr before starting over again so if anything else happens then I can find out who it is once and for all. Any suggestions for a cheap method of achieving this?

Im pretty sure the rear dampers on the corrado are 30mm shorter than the mk3's, my old set is on my mates mk3 16v and it sits very low at the back. Not a big problem and probably compounded by the eibach springs which naturally sit low at the rear anyway. Coilovers are the same kit for mk3 gti/16v/vr6 and corrado vr.

Black C on steel rims in Clydebank today just before 12, thought it was biggrim at first, even the reg was similar but no tinted windows.

No luck with this car last few weeks, got reversed into by an x5 a fortnight ago, and now ive just noticed the drivers window has been smashed last night. Luckily I got a hold of the x5 driver and that damage has been sorted but now im left with no drivers window and a dent in the door. There was 2 bricks on the ground as if they tried twice to smash the glass, hitting the door once, they must have then tried to open the door from the inside but the deadlocks stopped them as nothing else was touched. :cry: So, im trying to get a hold of a window in the wanted section, but if I go through a window repair company whats this likely to cost me, just the £50 excess same as windscreens? Obviously ill need to get the dent sorted myself. :x

Mines have been done in a slightly darker than standard powdercoat with a sparkle effect through them, you can see them glinting slightly in the light when its dark out. Looks pretty good and the powdercoat is very tough, have scraped a few kerbs and they look fine where standard paint would have came straight off.

Is that at the front right of the engine bay near the battery? If so then yeah...

Donaldsons seem ok, I had some work done in the past, there were a few minor issues but nothing worth getting into. I think they must have moved though, im pretty sure the building they were in has been torn down. Dont know where they are now. I usually make the trip to Star Performance if its a job I dont want to tackle myself.
