Kevhaywire and Pau1 you both are indeed right........they do look like stilauto sigma's.........though if you have a look at this G60 which belongs to John Kerr Scottish host VWCCGB he has Azev-A's on his and these do look the same as the pic of "Tommo's" car http://www.kf010a4571.pwp.blueyonder.co ... G%20JK.jpg the best person to ask(other than Tommo is 8vG60........he is a mate of Tommo's)...........though i reckon that you both are in the right tbh as the centre cap does seem to have a slight difference
-

AFAIK when the mfa reads 99.9mpg constantly thats a sign its knack'd......tho you can get it to read 99.9mpg if you dip the clutch at 70mph+ and coast in neutral
-

Bruno mate, get along to your dealers and buy the Hazet tool, although its a bit dear at £15-ish+vat its a whole lot easier to use than the original Plastic plug-lead tool and you'll get the leads out and back in with the minimum of fuss
-
well said that man!
-
my advice would be...........keep it standard for just a while.........as a couple of hundred might be needed sooner than you think on a Corrado......for instance i bought my storm from a garage and it too was a "minter" 2 weeks later the H/light switch needed replaced......so £70+ later..........you get my drift
-
i know of an ice grey violet VR  and a couple of tornado red G60's that will only be driving the great tarmac in the sky from now on
-
AFAIK all if not most of the 1.8 16v's will have the smaller tank 12 gals versus 15 gals for VR6's and 92>facelifted cars such as the 2.0 16v,also the fuel guage isn't the most accurate of things either so it could just be your driving style and the guage being a bit out

pmsl mate!   seriously though i don't understand what all the fuss about the original first-aid kits is over.....fair enough about the warning triangle.....afterall as you rightly point out a lot of the "sterile" dressings have use by dates so will be well out of date by now..........if people think that having the original first-aid kit is a sign of a good previous owner then thats a bit laughable.........afterall would you think anybody who has "standards" would still keep an out of date first-aid kit in their car? just my 2penneth spent

Yeah, that innitial thought did cross my mind!!! vr6storm, You reckon the keys are still available then? I'd probably rather have a Switchblade, but this option doesnt looklike it would take up soo much romm.... well i phoned them up about 3-4months ago and asked if they had a VR6 version of the AH key, they said they had and ordered it up......when i went to pick it up.....it was the 16v AH key they had and further enquiries found out that its only the 16v and G60 ones they do.......sure it was approx £20 inc getting the key cut -
i've just bought a set from my local VW-dealer for under £60......they come under the quantum brand tho
