5x120 but you could get them redrilled... ;)

I much prefer the Schmidt TH-Lines to Ronal turbos on a C, just a nicer style imo...

Hasn't G60BV got TT Comps on his G, running adaptors?

Had the lower temp stat in the 'rat but not the switch - you don't need them both, and it doesn't play up if you only have one... I only fitted the stat as I wanted to get the water into the rad earlier and keep the average temps down, but I kept the original fan switch as I didn't want the fan coming on every time I stopped for 20secs at traffic lights or anything... ;) Worked fine for me... Oh, and #13 is the housing, but mine wasn't cracked at all when I took it off, and that was on a 150k engine... It has brass inserts where the bolts go through anyway, so you're only going to crack it if you tighten the bots with a breaker bar or something! Just nip 'em up, plus a 1/4 turn for good measure and you'll be fine...

Anything with nice chunky 5-spokes looks good generally, preferably with a bit of a dish on them... :)

Speak to Darren at G-Werks - http://www.gwerks.co.uk - he's g-man on here. He supplies the SNS No-Lag chips to be paired with smaller pullies and everyone who has one would recommend them I believe...

All Aqua Blues are pearlescent - the reason VR6's looks so good is because it's only done 50K! -
and you can get them from http://www.gpcvwaudi.co.uk - ignore the prices, they're the wrong way round! and an e46 m3 at 27?!
-
ew no idea what it is either, sorry!

The Edition38 forums have a Passat section... :)
-
http://www.justmatz.co.uk can also find them on ebay.de - just search for "bbs Außenbett" or "bbs Felgenbett"

Did you see the list here - http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=28603 - ?

It was an official RossTech one, which left me slightly confused as to why it didn't seem to want to read! I'm afraid I can't remember which version of VAG-COM it was though, though I wouldn't have thought that would matter... Ah well, at least the ABS fault codes are cleared! Cheers Mr RW1 sir!

The "what I did to my Corrado today" thread...
gradeAfailure replied to Jim's topic in General Car Chat
Got up at 8:30am to remove all four wheels and clean them, hoover the interior, clean the glass, wash, dry and polish. Drove her to the TV meet and enjoyed it a lot! Got pulled by the feds on the way home (and quite rightly so ), enjoyed that rather less... Yesterday, did a few bits and bobs on my sis's rado and cleaned all the builder's dust off the Passat (cheers very much, mr and mrs next-door :x). -
Mucky pup!

Right, NickRStorm Vag-COMmed my VR at the TV meet today (mine is a '93 L-reg VR), and it only found the ABS system, not the ECU or anything else. He also scanned ZippyVR6's ('93, 2x2)and had the same result - yet a scan on thebrayne's '96 with the OBD2-style connector found everything. I thought that all VRs were completely scannable, and only the 2.0 16V could only read the ABS and nothing else? Any ideas why mine and Rog's weren't responding on the ECU and so on?
-
 no, they didn't! hope you got it done ok?

More like you live, shell out all your money, then learn... Works for me...! ;)

The general consensus is to go for polys up front to sharpen the steering and OE at the back to keep the suppleness and passive rear steering - have a search mate, it's been discussed rather a lot!
-
Glad to hear you got her started mate, never let the b1tches win!
-
Once you've done it once, it's that much easier the next time - but the desire to do it is much less!

De-Locked my door handles today now got issues!
gradeAfailure replied to juloesG60's topic in ICE 'n' Secure
The striker pin is probably not pushing the arm on the mech enough - the plastic section of the striker pin on the handle usually needs winding down a fair way to ensure that the mech arm is fully activated... You are using the Passat rear mechs aren't you? I am working on a mod that will allow full use of Corrado mechs with Passat handles... :) -

Saw a rather nice clean G60 at Aldershot Car Spares today - then saw the owner walking towards it! Turned out to be Ro, so I invited hom to the TV meet tomorrow! :) -
It's actually behing a cast bracket that the pas pump bolts to - you don't have to touch the pas pump at all, but there's three bolts holding the bracket on, and you'll need to remove it before you can get at the stat housing. It's a bitch of a job - have fun!
