  1. I'm still here too  Well done on the pass, as for the central locking, it's worth taking the pump apart to see what's happening or not, I had one fail in the past as there is a spinning slotted part in the middle ( you'll know it when you see it) that broke on mine...... it directs the air I'm sure
  2. I have a brand new one somewhere
  3. Chances are the doors/flaps have lost their foam and are fairly useless, given the fact that they are full of holes. I refurbished a box going on what someone else on here did. Not had a chance to try it out yet but I'm hoping for an improvement
  4. Well, there has to be a first for everything I guess :)
  5. Here you go http://www.gruvenparts.com/the-ultimate-crackpipe-all-vr6/
  6. I bought it from Stonejag, I'd think he will know, maybe worth a PM as I've not seen him on in a while
  7. Here you go mate, it even has a tap at the bottom for easy draining
  8. There is a metal(possibly aluminium?) replacement, I bought one off here a while back, no idea where it came from originally though, hopefully someone else will know. I'll go and take a picture for you mate
  9. Small update, the Storm was due to go for paint this week but it's been postponed due to the body shop not being quite ready for it, no worries though as it's only a couple of weeks delay. I stripped the metalwork off both bumpers and put them in the car along with the sunroof lid, replacement grill, new mirrors and the rear number plate light cover Which only left the spoiler to remove....... Then I found this After a wee poke with a screwdriver I'm now glad of the delay as I'll be swapping the tailgate over this coming weekend I guess

Can't be sure as I don't know. But, for the Lupo ones to work you need 2 x drivers side arms as the passenger arm is too long, so I think you might have that same issue

I didn't have any spare as it turns out mate, my latest 16v corrado was in need of a set for its mot and it doesn't help that I have a total of 4 corrado's in need of some
  12. You need to remove the front bumper as well(hidden bolts),which is only 4 bolts but it's best to support the engine while doing this as the bumper bolts are the main supports for the front crossmember (when these bolts are removed the front of the engine is only supported by 2 small 10mm bolts, that hold the radiator support up)
  13. Looks nice, is it a genuine one? Any pictures of the interior?
  14. I'll start then  Price? Location? Service history? Leather?
  15. Great write up, your car looks magic there mate 8)

Fingers crossed it'll be off at the weekend, I'm just hoping it'll come off in one piece. The last one I removed was siliconed on and it split along the bottom edge. I'll be far more careful this time :)

Good to see you getting stuck in :) Yes, still up for a trade mate, although I've still to remove one but should get to it at the weekend
  18. I'm sure Goldie would like a set mate :)
  19. I took the seats out today and hoovered the cabin, then shampooed the carpet and all the seats, trying to remove the smell of the car, as it's very stale..... it did sit about unused for 12 years. Cleans up ok though , gave it a good blast of Fabreeze, also cleaned and conditioned the gearstick gator. The reverse light has also packed in, fuse/bulb etc are all fine so I'll change the switch on the gearbox and hope that sorts it
  20. And they have arrived, many thanks again mate 8)
  21. Ha ha, we only bought off them once as Goldie was in the states so he could bring a few bonnet cables back with him. They didn't want to ship internationally. We get the cables from a different source now :)
  22. Best things for me, the looks(smile factor), the driving position, the sound, the fact it's not a boring box with wheels. Things to look out for. RUST, windscreen area, fuel cap area, sills, bottom of A pillars, far more important than engine related gremlins
