I know it can be a bit demoralising mate, but your car is cracker. Just think how nice it'll be to have it sorted underneath and it'll be good for years to come......plus it's so much cooler than 99% of the rubbish on the roads these days
-
Thanks guys, that'll be the way I do it then :) , ran into an issue there though, typically it was the last driveshaft bolt, and its rounded on the inside......not sure how I'm gonna solve it, ran out of daylight again, hoping I can get the irwins on it

How did you deal with the steering rack assembly when you dropped the subframe mate? Only asking as I'm at that bit, unsure if I should unbolt it off the subframe or undo it further up the column? I'm swaying towards taking it off the S/F which will allow me to (hopefully) avoid draining the steering?

Eat the jam first though :)

Fairly sure it's got 67 on it too

Set for sale on the 'burn all the corrado's ' page on Facebook, no idea how to link it sorry. Guy is in the USA and wants $80 plus p&p
-
Yes, I'll take it for that please :)

Looks magic under there 8)

I'm sure I've seen these on eBay. Just type VW brake pipe clips and loads come up

Option 3. Obd2 is supposedly a lot better than our obd1. Swap the full engine over and then it's a wee bit of a Frankenstein loom between the corrado and golf one. There is a guide on here somewhere

Welcome along.......looking forward to chapter 2 :)

Test fitted this today and pleased to report that it fits perfectly, please excuse the state of the engine bay, it's the storm and it's been under cover for the last year without a bonnet and the spiders have moved in  The pipe is exactly the same as the original, right down to the thicker piece of pipe at the throttle body end. I left the clips off to show the fit better.

Agree with the above, my old valver started overheating and it turned out water wasn't circulating, the impeller was still there but had come away from the pump so was doing nothing. Then checked the thermostat as a precaution and there wasn't one there  Needless to say both items were replaced and all was well

No worries mate, I wasn't expecting mint ones anyway :)
-
Yes, I'm very interested and yes I can wait :)

Thanks mate, I'm sure I have some spares here myself. Just wanted an easy solution if I'm honest......I actually knocked back a set at the start of the year and I've been kicking myself since

Up again, someone must have these hidden away :)

Sounds good to me mate, just remind me of your details and I'll get you paid :)

How much mate? :)

I'll do it if you like? :)
