Well, these arrived today, courtesy of Yash, thank you again, so the hunt was a success :) They will need a little tlc to be at their best but that'll happen

I've not been looking for wheels at all mate, but those ones are just so different and after seeing them in the flesh on Goldies car, they have quickly become my favourite wheel, the seem to suit the corrado perfectly. Anyway, I'm skint at the moment lol, got the 16v in the garage getting various jobs/mot done and the Storm is going in for a respray next month :lol:

I've currently got 5, although one is a breaker/parts donator. None are on the road at the moment either :lol: That should change imminently though as my early 16v is one pipe away from an MOT, which should (fingers crossed)be arriving today or tomorrow:)

You are too critical of your car Jim, it's very nice and if I'm not mistaken, the engine is now in great condition too? The worst people for pushing values down are the owners themselves. We all need to accept we own super cool cars and enjoy them :)

If it was mine I'd be insuring it for about £7.5k minimum

About 4/5 years ago my Corrado was parked outside a friends house while I fitted a wooden floor for him, his neighbor came to the door to confess she had reversed into my car, damaging the o/s wing and front bumper,same side. She instantly took my details and phoned her insurance company......while I wandered round the car with my angry face on :lol: Within an hour or so they contacted me, I sent a few photos of the damage, they called back and offered me 3 options 1. Write car off, value to be decided later 2. Cat C plus £1200 3. £800 to repair it myself and no write off/recorded damage. I took option 3 as I happened to have a spare wing and bumper in the correct colour :) The money was in my account before I finished laying the floor :lol:

No mate, I'm giving it to a body shop as it'll need a professional to do it right. The guy I'm using concentrates on repair jobs mostly and only takes one full respray at a time, which he works on between other jobs, which means he might have it a couple of months(max), and that'll suit me fine as I'll need time to get the long forgotten twilight VR out of the garage, as the Storm needs a warm place to come back to :)

Took the cover off the Storm project today for the first time in ages. Reason being it's officially booked in for its respray, which is mid March. I've a few things to do before it goes away, like refitting the fuel tank/steering wheel, plus a drivers seat. Still to remove the sunroof and a couple of trim bits
