V3 is for serious race setting up, damping adjustment. If your looking for road use I would go for V1, no point spending an extra 300-600 on the V2's or 3's if your just going to be putting them on your car and adjusting the height.

i beggeth of you, don't break it... such an awesome machine!!! -
check near the start of page 2. you need 2 drivers side wiper arms, the passenger arm (or the arm to be used as a passenger arm) has to be bent slightly as i believe. the audi tt uses normal and aero wiper arms, the part numbers specified are aero wipers i believe to be off the mk1 TT but i dont know anymore than that. whether the mk2 uses the same wipers and if they fit as well i don't know.
-
anything will fit, it just depends how far your wanting to go and how much money your wanting to spend.
-
   turn it upside down and shake it out or as mentionned previously use the force

my local council found it clever to reduce the speed limit of a main road from 60 - 50, then kick off because everyone is 'speeding' and set up speed camera's :censored:

My sincere apologies to Mr VR6 if this is wrong place to ask, im sure you will be telling me off if it is :( Im rebuilding a VR6 engine (stupidly i have decided to leave the 24v until next year) and am trying to get hold of some piston rings, i've had a search over the forum and apparently you can get them for £120 but i have no idea where to get them from. rang around a few places near me and i got quoted £38 a piston... ouch!!! i am after 81.5mm piston rings and i will need a full set, anyone know of places i can get them from and also if people are feeling generous, where i can get good price rebuild parts. Im doing a full rebuild so all new chains, gaskets, seals, shells etc. any help would be much appreciated!

*touch wood* its not too bad round here. there are a few sneeky 50s coming in here and there. end of the day its an elected dictatorship, stereotypical views are used by all people in places of power. rather than address the growing issue of bad drivers, they decide it necessary to lower speed limits. heres a message for all the chunts, "LOWERING THE SPEED LIMIT WON'T STOP BAD DRIVING"!!!!!!! i actually got ran off the road this morning along a 60mph road when down a country-ish road someone was driving in the centre of the road, didn't even move out the way when they saw me, i had to go onto the verge to get past. granted it was quite foggy but it was a straight road and the person in front of 'it' managed to stay on their side, if it were 50 mph it wouldn't have made a blind bit of difference.

i do like these, they are very subtle but very nice. perhaps lower the back a bit to even it out and it will look spot on. -
yea i think its just that time of the year, winter without a corrado is not too bad and its crap weather, crap roads and no fun. summer without one is murder, soo much fun and everytime i get overtaken by some chav whilst im in my little 1.3 i think "if only i was in my corrado" I think the best bet for people wanting to do a conversion is to buy everything before they start the conversion and just blitz the full thing in one week. buy a spare VR loom to get converted etc.
-
Afraid im another one, bought a corrado without t&t or MOT and an engine in bits for the conversion for a good price, its 100% standard and a minter and i bought an audi 3.2 engine but decided i just want to drive it rather than mess about so its on hold to rebuild the VR and im still deciding whether to sell the lot and pick it back up once i've got interest in it again.

Left stranded, car towed cos of insurance error.

im not having a dig at the police with regards to the insurance details, fair enough the insurance database from what i've heard can at times but wrong. im sick to death of coppers with their powercrazed attitude. almost every copper that has pulled me or my friends over has been a prick, i don't drive like an idiot, i dont attract attention and go hangout in car parks but they just seem to want to threaten you with them taking your car away from you all the time and they are just not reasonable people. ill provide an example quickly, my friend got pulled over in his mk2 golf vr6 conversation goes as follows cop: right we've had complaints of people shouting abuse out the windows of your car last night and causing disturbances friend: right, well my car was at home and i was in a pub with about 10 people which can vouch for me as well as the bar staff as i was drinking cop: well if you do it again im going to take your car away from you. my point is that its not too bad the police pull people over, thats fair enough, its the fact they just don't listen back on topic, i think your brother needs to get an invoice to insurance on the case -

I'd be fuming, to me the insurance company is just a major monopoly. They jus pick a price off the top of their heads and charge it, theres no way around it. If you don't have a crash thats a full year of say £800 in their back pocket for nothing, peace of mind, the very least they can do is get the details right. and of course if you ever do claim it takes absolutely forever and they will try and get out of it to no end, its like a scheme someone thought up like these retarded snowballing get rich quick schemes that the government approved. No wonder theres so many people driving around uninsured, the cost of insurance for new drivers is out of this world, people who work hard for their money get absolutely raped regardless of what kind of driver they are. I'd go to ombudsman and bleed them dry for inconvenience, stress, incompetance on their part, lack of transport, transportation back home. I'd also complain to the police because they are just powermad pricks that really don't want to listen to a word you have to say, if you have a sporty car your a criminal to them. i bet it would be ALOT different if you mentionned racism to them -

fancy making another intake pipe? :norty: how did you do the maf with that setup, cant quite see from pics -
if you mean those two support L shape bracket things that you can see on the slam panel with a bolt each going through them then all you need to do is undo the bolts and pull the brackets upwards and thats the radiator loose.
