morning chaps! hopefully some kind soul with ETKA is about this morning? I'm after part numbers for a 93 VR on the following... Fuel Pump Relay (number 53 i think) Bowden cable for heater direction dial (far left dial on heater control panel) uh... the fluffy bit that goes around the outside of the sunroof! not sure on the technical term for it, i'll try and find a photo. cheers!

the corrado driver has an advantage in that its him doing the 3-2-1-go! countdown, I'd imagine the delay in the scooby drivers reactions accounts for the corrado shooting off so convincingly, if you notice once they get up to speed the corrado doesnt actually pull away much. Hate to say it guys, but between a 300bhp scooby and a 260bhp corrado its not going to be as overwhelming as in that video.
-
well, the videos set in monaco, so somewhere in the ultra posh, ultra swanky (eh? all i said was sw@nky!) monaco population theres a corrado owner

;) even I know what that one means! its on koni's mate, dropped about 60mm.

ahhh! I was trying to make the connection there to ben16v, was thinking parsons...sarson...viniger... acidic? wtf?
-
thats attached to his watch isnt it? this years new bling fashion item in a sort of bastardisation of the old beasty boys vw medalion
-
how far into the video is it mate? at the start where that white car is driving about?
-
i thought the new one was 'window shopper'? oh and Dr_Mat, hes actually confessed to dealing in the past, although he probably doesnt own the C in the video (thankfully).
-
hmm, just watched the video on the mtv website, i'm either blind or the videos too small to be able to see it!
-
quality! have to look out for the video!
-
cool, thanks mate

At the moment my C has a private plate on which actually belongs to chrisvr6 nos, and as i'm selling the car, he wants it back (never got around to transfering it thinking we had plenty of time!) anywho, I'm not sure how to go about it, the DVLA has a pretty good FAQ but it doesnt seem to answer this specific question. Will I (he!) have to pay the standard £80 transfer fee to take the plate off my car and return it to its original plate, then another £80 to put it on chris's car? or can we do a car-to-car transfer?

thats a beaut! from the best era of 911's and their varients too. WHEN i get my hands on a porker it'll be a early 90's whale tail jobby, the sort i drooled over as a kid... nice to be able to own the cars you've always hankered for

I'm running infinity 5's in the doors, pioneer 4's in the dash and a 12" in the boot, the infinity's and 12" are amped off a 4 channel in the boot. Its not the most expensive kit avalible but the sound quality it great, the 12" isnt turned up loud, it just provides subtle depth to the music. I'd say with the focals up front you'll get a nice clean clear sound and the 12" to add a bit of meat... it'll sound pretty damn good! the 1 or 2 amp argument is something you'll have to work out yourself, I think its easier running a 4 channel since its less wires to run around the car personally.
-
5" in the front doors... uh... your corrado doesnt have back doors... :D but the speakers either side of the parcel shelf are 6x4's which arent really worth upgrading since they'll always sound pants. best bet is to get some componants up front and mount the tweeters in the dash, leave the rears as is (6x9's are a bad idea for sound staging plus you'll be chopping up a shelf). for the subs, 2 x 12"s are going to give you rather alot of bass! depends what you want, for something that sounds good but wont rattle windows or scare children one 12" would be fine. the only way you're going to keep boot space is with one of audioscapes moulded sub enclosures which fits snug to the side of the boot. there was a group buy on the forum not so long ago, do a search and you'll find pics/prices.

Crash Bang Wallop... What an accident
chrishill replied to jedi-knight83's topic in General Car Chat
feck mate that sucks, glad you're ok though, good job audi's are built well! sounds like you've got total recall on the accident, when I had one a few years ago i couldnt remember the details for ages! watch your neck/back though, whiplash and muscle trauma sometimes take a while to show up. if you havent already take yourself to the Drs and get checked out as a precaution -
i bet its comfier than most office chairs! the one i have at work send my arse to sleep after a few hours!

The All New Lupo Aero Wiper Conversion Thread!!
chrishill replied to Supercharged's topic in Exterior
not sure if this'll be any use, but theres an aerowiper kit for the mk3 golf https://sslrelay.com/s74326199.oneandoneshop.co.uk/sess/utn;jsessionid=154362381ec0d94/shopdata/index.shopscript -
I cant help but think the press are going to knock it for silly things like having 'no soul' or no luggage space or something equally daft (one reviewer commented he didnt like that you couldnt tell what was a switch and what wasnt on the dash ) its had a bit of a chequerd history up to its release and bugatti/vw/audi have taken alot of stick over its delays and other problems, turning it into somewhat of a joke with the motoring press.

been posted before, but always good to watch. total reckless madness.

i've heard people say the corrado storm was the equivalent of the golf highline (both 'end of line' specials), maybe thats what they meant M15 VW?

I noticed that too, but from the badge being on the wrong side. probably nowt wrong with it at all really, just an uninformed seller
