one of the few good things about a g, inlet can stay where its supposedto be.
-
i run 195 on 7.5" and they are fine
-
good stuff, im glad its not just me thats thinking it aint the brightest idea.
-
as im doing this tomorrow, weather permitting.... i read that using silicone to help seal it is a good idea  really? i wouldnt have thought it was the smartest thing to shove on it?
-
def higher than that thankfully. compression is good and not losing alot of oil. hopefully if its not bloody raining tomorrow ill change the rocker cover gasket and give it a good scrub down. cheers for reply :D
-
tis indeed engine oil. and coming from higher up than where the exhaust manifold bolts on. so im pretty happy its not the sump. where does the rear main seal sit then? in laymans terms if you look at the back of the engine its coming from the top left - no more than two inches in
-
went to have the exhaust inspected today as its sounding tinny as fook. bloke said initially he could fix it by resealing it. fair enough, let him go for it. asked if it was ok to have a butchers under it and he said help yourself. spotted this.... 2.8l 24v Climatronic system.pdf29042010231.jpg[/attachment:16974s0k] coming from up near four branch 29042010232.jpg[/attachment:16974s0k] im thinking rocker cover gasket, but anything i should be aware of/looking at? then after the chap is finished, start the car and it sounds the same. doh. middle box is about dead. and to top it of its spent the rest of the day raining so couldnt do anything engine related. the old girl aint going stanford hall :(

from looking at the pics/size of your wheels id say you are on 40mm lowering springs. i have 40mm lowering springs on mine, red too. they are coming off next week, so i will have a good look for any stamps on them.
-
part numbers are listed near the bottom of his page
-
you should ask if they do a car allowance instead. a lot of companies used to offer it. might open up your options a bit.
-
pretty minging but fair play to you for manning up. surely that deserves head?
-
its the size of them thats the problem dude. round hole, square peg situation. from looking at mine today, you would have to do some chopping to get it in, if it would go at all. pain to plumb in drivers side outlet too. even more so in your case i would assume. i had to sqaush some of my alloy pipes a bit and they were only 63mm. just read the first post, i miss my 200sx. real good motor in my opinion. i think flog it on egay to be honest.
-
the g60's dont seem to agree with a big intercooler, power just drops off. plus unless your a chav and want to remove half your bumper to show it/get air to it its pretty pointless going bigger than the grill. my boost pipes are always cold no matter haw far i drive so i have no compliants about mine.
-
sorry for the crude job but you get the picture. end tanks are infact 74 mm deep, tight on passenger side. 2.8l 24v Climatronic system.pdfcorrado4.jpg[/attachment:2mtsb3ww] starting at the top and going down; 500, 165, 68, 63. hard to read i know. corrado5.jpg[/attachment:2mtsb3ww]

Yes, but im at work at the mo. Should be able to measure up tonight. Its 63mm deep and i believe the end tanks were 68mm.
-
ill pull it to pieces then and see what i can spot. could be on the ball to be honest as its killing full throttle too. cheers dude
-
dont know to be honest but id assume you could get something reasonable for £300a month. im not suggesting it but one of the lads at work has a fiesta zetec s 1.6 on lease for £175 a month. vrs??
-
no mine are 500mm end to end. i have (cough cough) cabled tied mine out of the way a little bit, really no need to be that long. i hate cable ties, my car seemed to have been 90% held together by them when i bought it :( now i think there is 5 on the whole car :D
-
half hour if the bolts come off easy enough  bigger is better (i have a chuffin huge adjustable) forgot slotted nut removers too!!!
-
hiddeous feel for you. in my younger days i spent a night in the cells. got let out in the morning and when i was nearly home spotted my mk2 at the bottom of my road. same story really broke in by prizing door open. barrel smashed to pieces, steering lock snapped, hot wired and generally made a mess of it. twats didnt spot the battery was disconnected hence why they only made it to the bottom of the hill. now that was a sh*t day.

although i cant confirm the sizes of the joints from the pic, they look bang on to me. m10 banjo and m10 x 1 female swivel is what you should be looking at. length of somewhere around 430mm and youll be fine, mine are longer though (not goodridge too) a good upgrade.
-
7mm allen key, brake caliper allen key i think they are called. and all i did was grind two flat sides on a 22mm socket and use and adjustable spanne to grab it with. not a very complicated job, really is a half hour at the most, and thats without an airgun. £100 is daylight robbery.
-
if by width you mean depth. 85mm, i believe your gunna have to start chopping bits out sadly. depends upon the endtanks for certainty though. but in my head it doesnt fit unless you mve the rad back (not challenging to do, but still may not get enough clearence). pic or two may help a better judged call though. just have to get your hands dirty to be certain.
-
the whole shabang like your looking at selling seems to go for around a grand on egay. like already said really depends on what history you can prove and modififcations carried out (some people want, some dont)
-
yes and no, as far as im aware that is. i dont run boost return but i do pipe it back in from the isv to a t piece. i run without lambda probe to compensate fueling. unless im not twigging what you mean. throttle body coming off on thurs and gunna clean the fook out of it, check butterfly too. but im convinced its electrical. i have noticed though, it does not do it from start up until you press the accelerator. but still idels at 1300 ish. i did brick it when i took the red wire off, crammed it back on as fast as i could  forgot about taking photo of underneath. memory seems to be getting worse. on a slighlty posative note a bloke at a local garage had absolutely no clue what i was talking about or even what a g60 was. so he said if i take it down next week he will try and diagnose free of charge.
