  1. Everything sold out near me. I also read on another forum (unconfirmed) that VPower deliveries are being suspended as the drivers are being diverted to regular deliveries to keep up with demand. Can I run mine on regular unleaded? It's a VR6 but has modified cams and map. How bad will it be to use that? If it's going to cause a longer term problem then I'll just leave it in the garage until everything blows over.
  2. It's not looking good for me at the AGM. All my local petrol stations are empty. The last one I queued for 45 mins only to be told they had just run out :(
  3. Green Corrado today at 13:30 in Esher. I was two cars behind you in mine but couldn't get past the others to catch up. It pulled into a side road off the high street and into what looked like a small work car park. I couldn't see a badge but it looked to have solitudes so I guess it was a Storm. They are lovely looking cars to follow down the road.
  4. Maybe at the next show I will hang a Panama hat off my towing eye for double scene points.

    Vr6

That's a total git. Have you tried looking at a classic car policy? Or phone around as some places might still take your "named driver" years towards an NCD. It's worth a try with a decent specialist broker.
  6. It's bound to be Easter weekend which will screw me right over as I was planning to take the family to Norfolk. Either that or maybe the Olympics week :D I'm off out to try to fill the Corrado later. It's on half a tank and that won't be enough if I go to the CCGB AGM. I also need to filly my lawn mower jerry can as it's run out and I can't mow the lawn. I'm actually quite embarrassed doing that as people will think I'm panic buying which I'm really not. I genuinely need to mow my lawn.
  7. (If I go) my route will be: M25 then M40. Thanks. Already a member. But could I pay for 2012 as it will save hassle later? :)
  8. I've just sent payment and delivery address for the passenger inner handle. Thanks.
  9. 50/50 on being able to attend this. Depends on the family and also finding a petrol station near me that hasn't run out (I'm not joking). Do I need to register or anything, or just turn up?
  10. Nice I was looking at my tatty one the other day. Thanks.
  11. I noticed this at a couple of shows last year. Why do some people put a straw or Panama hat on the rear shelf? Does it mean something?
  12. I had to fill the golf today a it's was on the red line. My local garage was out of petrol completely. I managed to find one so brimmed it so was hoping to drive the family to Norfolk over Easter. Not so sure now.
  13. Wasn't there a one owner 25k or 30k VR6 last year that initially went up for £10k and then gradually dropped to £8k over about 5 months? Not sure if that sold or was just withdrawn but that's probably a fair guide price in the absence of anything else. However the market has worsened since then.
  14. That really is a total ****er :( I'm going to go against the grain and say that if money is tight then selling is the right thing to do. It will be one less thing to worry about.
  15. I've changed my mind on the passenger inner door handle. Do you still have it? If so I will take it.
  16. Yes but then you'll have an average car that does everything in an average way. By having a daily and the Corrado for the weekend you'll enjoy each for what it does best. Loving the look on yours. The wheels look great. Although if it were me I would probably be trying to get it looking stock again. A stock storm including solitudes, but with a modern 24v would be just about perfect. if you do go for a single car then how about a 944? That certainly wouldn't be average and may get your interest going again.
  17. Totally agree. The first time I parked my Corrado in a high street I couldn't stop giggling at how high everything else looked on either side of it.
  18. EnthusiastOwned is advertising some from a G60 in the cars for breaking section if he still has them.
  19. Well done. It's a lovely feeling.

    The Rising

The loom for movement is just two wires. One plugs into the fusebox (I forget which ampage but it's quite high) and the brown earth onto any suitable body location. There is a guide on here somewhere. I wired mine in so it can't be that hard :) Do these help for the heating side of things? You'd probably need to double check they are what you're after.
