Only 3 years. I've added about 5k to the mileage and it is now on 73k.

Today between Cranbook and Goudhurst on the A262. A very nice N Reg, not sure what flavour but could have been a mystic blue storm.

Great news. This is going to be an interesting story.

Do VW have an embargo on talking about the Corrado
MarkR replied to Chuggs1's topic in General Car Chat
It's a Bank Holiday weekend and the weather is good. Let's all get out in our Corrados, take some photos of our cars and bombard VW's Facebook page. -
It does make you wonder about the information printed in magazines such as these.

Posted a photo of my midnight blue VR6. We need to like and comment on each other posts to raise their profile on the page. -
Green cars are considered unlucky by some.

When I needed a new key for our BMW I had to take a the V5 and my passport to the dealer. A new key programmed to the car arrived in a couple of days.

Great result and no cost!

Me too, but I was worried the wife might read it!

I believe we undervalue our cars. We are very good at assessing the wrecks for a couple of grand, but then undervalue original cars or those that have been restored to excellent condition, often with over £10,000 spent. The prices of many other classic cars have risen recently, for example a decent MGB is now nearly £10k and a V8 version is in excess of £20k.

All credit to you for even attempting to restore. For experience it is likely that the old alarm is knackered and would be best removed.

Northern Ireland is a very small market.

Ebay VR6 in Woolwich, SE London – Has it been clocked?
MarkR replied to culshaw's topic in Ebay and Misc
There is no MOT history between October 11 and August 15. I assume it was probably off the road. -

I would tend to agree. Why would you go to the trouble of clocking a car by a few thousand miles? Apparently clocking is a real problem with private lease contracts as people can easily avoid additional payments by having the car's mileage reset. -
There's not a sticker on Chris Gaskell's Storm, so I assume they were not standard on the later Corrados. http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?87404-ChrisL-s-Classic-Green-Storm&highlight=chris+gaskell

The seller appears to be a dealer. Perhaps they took in in a a part exchange and don't want the hassle of selling it as a going concern. Selling for spares probably removes their consumer liability.
-
I don't know it, but it looks good value. The lack of MOT is a bit if a worry though.

A similar post to mine. It's good to have a bit more detail from someone who attended. Prices seem to be on the rise.

A G60 sold at Anglia Car Auctions for £4,410 last Saturday. It looks fairly tidy, but hardly the most desirable spec. http://www.angliacarauctions.co.uk/en/classic-auctions/latest-classic-car-catalogue/saturday-9th-april/1992-vw-corrado-g60/

Might be worth checking your wheel allignment

A great story and photo.

As the seller said a single front light sells for £100 so it would be easy to get your money back.
