Car of show for me was either the White Rallye, The Mars Red Mk2 still running it's original 8V K-jet motor or the Brown Caddy!
  7. Been looking at Koni Coilover Kits, Seem to go for like £800 inc VAT But a certain website is doing the same kit for £628 inc VAT!! Seems bloody Cheap to me!!!! 12. And 2.8 VR6 engine! Useless Git! Also as it was cars of '88 you would have thought they could have found an F-Reg Press Car for the shoot instead of a VR6!!! I am going to write a strongly worded email :D
  13. Anyone have a link to the ebay seller???? The Previous links are too old :(
  14. Aye, It's funny but 16V's actually have more torque than 8V's it's just further up the rev range! Watching an 8v Mk2 and a 16V Mk2 on a Drag Strip is interesting, they are basically neck and neck, till the valver comes on cam and then pulls away by quite a bit!
  15. Got My Spoiler Sorted, It Now Works.........Hurrah! Unforntunatley my car bit me in the process and my hand now really hurts :(
  16. The Alfa is a lovely car but will spend more time in the dealers than you will driving it! Take it has to be Diesel too??? What about an ex Demo Beemer 330d??? Devastatingly fast, but has the c0ck end factor, the VW Tiguan Looks Cool too, although I dunno how much they are :(
  17. Gutted! that looks lovely too! hope it gets sorted v.soon
  18. Had a play tonight! Took the spoiler off and the tubes that it bolts into are loose on one side! Goes up but not down, like the wires are not connected! To fix it looks like I'd have to take the mech out just to get at it! I which case as Carpy Says I might aswell put in a whole new mech :( Ah well......Anyone know of any going????
  19. so to remove the spoiler i just undo the allen bolts that are at the back??? how easy is it totake the rest of the mech out??
  20. It's not rubbing, it although the spoiler bit where the allen key bolt is, is not connected to the mechanism inside!
  21. Hi Guys, Had a look through search, but couldn't find a similar prob to mine! My spoiler will go up fine, but when it comes to retract, only the drivers side moves down until it's about 1/2 down and then the other side drops! I checked the allen bolts and they are tight! Thought it might be rubbing on the seal, so sprayed WD40 on it, but it didn't help! When the spolier is up it is solid, but if you manually retract it, stop 1/2 way. You can move the sticking side up and down, like it's not connected to the mechanisms???? Does that make any sense?? How easy are the spoiler mechs to get to?? Any ideas what it could be and is it any easy fix?? Cheers Steve.
