Car Failed MOT :( So it relieved of £180 for 2 brand new 205/40/17 Eagle F1's and £11.75 for 2 Strut top mounts from ECP (Bargain or what) Yesterday it passed it's MOT..... :notworthy: :clap: Yay!!!!

MK4 Front Bushes will fit the Mk2/Corrado front arms OK???

Hope you guys can help :clap: I've gotta renew the suspension bushes on my C! Are Powerflex the only poly bushes available these days??? I used to have Bonrath ones on my old MK2 and they were wicked! Also not sure wether to renew all bushes withj brand new VAG ones (To keep some ride comfort) or fully polybush or poly bush the rear and std VAG ones in the front???? So...... 1)How Good are Powerflex bushes?? 2)Are they're any UK importers for Bonrath?? 3)Are VAG Rear Beam bushes that much of an arse to fit? 4)Am I gonna have loads of probs if I polybush the rear and std VAG bush the front??? 5)Any other suggestions..... :grin: Cheers Guys Steve

Just a quickie....... Is a Corrado Rear beam same as a MK2 golf???? I know the bushes are the passive rear steer things just wondered about the beam as wanna get one to clean up/powder coat before I do my suspension etc! Thanks Steve

S3's are very nice cars......but they are souless, plus everyone will just think it's an A3 :grin: Rado's are fairly rare on the roads, My Std 1.8T powered corrado is just as quick, if not quicker than my mates S3! It cost me less than £3K to get the 1.8T sat in my bay! Keep the rado, you'll only regret it!

Try Jason at Volksrange, or nick at ECP ,lk43vr6,on the section-5 forum as he can get discount! Or there is a Rad place in Darlo just off Whessoe road, Near Morrisons! It didn't show up on the test drive did it :(

Now Foxy! Probs already :( I bet the expansion cap is the old black one????? Just get a new one from VAG! They come in funky blue colour as the old black ones are rubbish! And I'll repeat it but get some damn pics up :grin:

BTW the 6-Speed 'box is frickin huge, and you'll need custom driveshafts for it to fit! You can use the 5-speed 'box just fine, you only have to mod the output flanges for it to fit, or just use your G60 'box!!!

That Looks Loads better! Wheels don't look lost now! Just a quick question though.....I'm sure I read that used Dodo Juice "Banana Armour" on your car! As it's a hard wax did you have to use anything special to apply it and was it a nightmare to take off??? Just asking as I use Megs Gold Class liquid wax on mine but a Few of my mates use Dodo Juice and swear it's Fab! Aswell as smelling nice :grin: Cheers

So would everyone! Somebody he works with apparantly! I went with him ready to pull it apart because it was just too cheap, but couldn't! The current owner has thrown money at it, it hasn't wanted for anything! Only last week he brought a brand new blower motor from VAG for it as the fan only worked on position 4!!!!! Plus it's just had a new tensioner, belt and waterpump in the last week!!!!!!

He collecting it on Tuesday I believe, So Hopefully He'll have some pics to upload then! Told him to get registered on here! He sold his Mk2 8V GTi last week for £2K so he's basically swopped a Mk2 GTi for a VR6 Storm (No envy smilie)

I can go months without seeing one!!! So when I do see one it's an event :lol:

Just been to look at a Cheap VR6 with a mate of mine! Well low and behold it turned out to be a mystic Blue Storm!!!! 160K, 2 owners from new,engine sweet as a nut and I mean sweet no timing chain rattle, they must have been done at some point but the 1st owner didn't keep the recipts, fully stamped service book, just had 4 brand new pirelli P6000 tyres fitted and 2 brand spanking new Solitudes! Body workwise it had a few scabs on the arches and unfortunatley it looks like it's rusted through on the rear where the badges are! But nothing a decent bodyshop can't sort!!! A full respray is planned though How much you ask................... £2K :shock: Needless to say it was bought :D I'm just miffed I never find bargains like this :(

Spend a bit of time getting the stance right and your car will look spot on, nice to see a real set of LM's too! Yeah it's too high at the back, can't wind it down as my coilovers are siezed :(
