  1. That....... looks...... EPIC! Mine are still piled up in the corner of my living room 😞 Best wheel for the Corrado hands down. Ok we're biased but it's true.
  2. Superb job there. Just read back the thread - I was 17 in 2000 as well but didn't have the forsight to buy a rado back then. There is something really satisfying about knowing the underside of the car is protected. I've done similar to you but with dinitrol. Looks the same mind!
  3. Yes that's right I have the green one on mine. It is a 70l tank/vr6 if that makes a diff Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  4. Hi Stone, yeah photos would be good. It is a tricky area to do anything with. My tank is a little different to yours, I think it is the same as Dox - return line. My one connects up the pipes that runs under the car. I put my finger on the points. Some pics: Also inc a pic of the hole in the chassis leg for it to run through. My bodyshop trapped it underneath with the brown/clear pipe (disconnected on mine and stank of fuel). Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  5. Nice work there, thanks for making parts to keep our old girls the road! Do you make the headlight repair clips for where they mount to the slam panel?
  6. Mileage shouldn't be problem if you're rebuilding it and replacing worn out parts. The only issue i can think of is the block being worn but i would have thought that's mostly fixable with overboring and piston rings to suit or sourcing a new block if it came to it once it is apart. That said you should be able to find an engine that is not seized - that's not a good start - Dox's engine sounds a good option as an alternative and if you're re-building the oil consumption wouldn't be too much of a problem. It depends on what is causing the oil consumption too - could just be a head refurb jobby on Dox's engine as would have thought the bottom end would still have plenty of life in it at 100k.
  7. I did little guide on my corrado thread on how to repair the brake pedal sensor. Also Stealth will do it if you remove and send to them as well.
  8. Stone - i think ill probably go the same route as you and delete the actuator. I've removed the fuel tank today and had a nose around. The plastic part in the pic was supposed to screw into the body but the screw holes have succumbed to rot. Looks to be a silly design really - huge hole where the actuator comes through allowing water and whatever else enter the inner arch. Well that is my excuse for deleting it anyway! 9. I've not removed an axle (or front subframe before) but all this shiny stuff is giving me ideas. Do you have to line up the subframe/rear axle or is just a case of bolt off and on? The reason I've not done it is becuase I don't want to mess with the cars alignment but it does seem like people do this work at home.
  10. Ahh looks great - there is something hugely satisfying knowing parts like this are in tip top shape. I joined the Candian Corrado facebook page and saw this and thought it was you - I did comment as well.
  11. They do say clouds often have a silver lining 😄
  12. Prices are all over the shop. I did see this one the faceache site the other week. We should up the agreed value of our cars. Reminds me I need to fill in the form... been meaning to do that since December. I was going to put £12k in but maybe i should go for more.
  13. F**ckers. I hope they didn't do any damage jacking the car up? As for reporting it would be the police but doubt you'll get much from on it. At least the crime stats will be included as a theft.
  14. That is super annoying after all your efforts and annoying it is common place with garages too. I am always having trouble when i take any of my cars places - no one treats them as well as we do.
  15. A blue G60 travelling through Barkway village at 3PM today. You were following a tasty Espirt Turbo! Seen twice since living here, found the car on Flickr. I've got those wheels for my 16v - look good!
  16. That's a good trick and I also found out recently that if you wedge the brake pedal down and take off say a brake calliper or flexi no fluid will leak out. Still needs bleeding but generally only the corner you're working on.
  17. That is a great solution and I hope it comes here too. I've been looking for something like that as have an OEM unit it's possible to put an Aux feed into but bluetooth is more difficult. This unit could probably be adapted to work with any head unit that controls a CD changer if no aux available too.
  18. You might be able to source from Europe as they had models in more basic specs - some didn't have central locking. Personally i can see the attraction of manual windows (and sunroofs) - less to go wrong.
  19. ha ha I saw the account when it registered and changed the profile pic but thought i'd wait until they'd posting something before banning. As a side note - i am not seeing any notifcations of new member posts to moderate? I don't get emails either.
  20. Did you drive this car through potters bar/high barnet regularly? I used to see a green storm quite frequenly when i lived there (I moved out of that area 6 mths ago). For pictures I use https://imgbb.com/ . It's free and creates the "BB Code" links needed for forums automatically - you can just copy and paste. You can make almums secure etc. Might be easier for you to host images here and then you can advertise the car across multiple forums/places without have to load the pics multiple times 🙂
  21. Good find Hutty I will take a look at them on renewal.
  22. Thank you for that, i can see it sort of loops back on it's self and the black insert bit clips to the rod. I'm about to start working the area and am dropping the fuel tank so should be able to get a good view from behind (as the body shop failed to route the breather pipes through the chassis leg).
  23. I'm not really a jap car fan but would like an original skyline if I had the money https://www.theverge.com/2016/3/23/11293378/nissan-skyline-gtr-photos-nyias-2016 I bet it would disintegrate with rust even in the summer on our roads though.
  24. Actually I dont suppose you remember how the black plastic insert mounted up yo your actuator? Is it that thing I see behind my square hole - mines semi loosely fitted and will push in a touch with finger pressure. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  25. Cheers guys. I have thought about the mk2 option - it would be a blank and loose the actuator arm thing on the door. I'll need to put a locking filler cap (to be fair the car doesn't really leave my sight so maybe not). Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
