    This had nothing to do with stretch, but incorrect speed rating. http://www.ilovebass.co.uk/article/334/gethin-evans-mk3-golf/ 6.5 is the measurement of the inner lips, the total wheel width is about an inch more so 195 on 7.5" is about right. 'J' BTW doesn't have anything to do with the width, it's the shape of the tyre bead. See above - 8" will actuall be 9" on outside edge, so 225 tyre will be about right for flat/flush tyre fitment.

    Hi and welcome to the forum! If you've managed to get as far as posting this thread, an advert shouldn't be much harder. The main thing you might struggle with is posting photos, but if you get the basics of an advert together someone will help you with pics. Pricing is a lot harder and with the description you've given it'll certainly need good photos to help work out a fair value. Where do you live? There's nearly always someone local happy to help!     Only difference in fitting to a 16v is you need the VR cross member and VR clocks. It's also worth upgrading at the same time to 5 stud, to give you more brake options, but not essential... My old R32 was originally a G60 with 305mm ibiza cupra brembo's upfront and 280's rear.

    Cool, I'll dig em out, it'll probably be tomorrow now though as working tonight. I have at least two sets, one stripped down ready for tinting which may save you some time! The others are standard.

    Have look into 'great plates'/drop plates/rear beam relocation plates. It looks like your rear wheels are gonna sit forward with the drop you have, these centre them back up again..

    My 2.0 140 Leon needs a turbo. My brothers 2.0 140 A3 needs a turbo. My old 1.9 mk5 needed a cam & injectors. My wife's 1.9 115 mk4 needs a turbo. My mates 1.9 b6 Passat needs a turbo. Vag diesels are junk! :lol:

    All depends where in the world you are! Avon Tuning just outside of Bristol will crack open the DPF, strip the innards and replace so it visibly looks untouched. They assured me once remapped the emmissions are still well within MOT limits. Having said that, unless you're exceeding 15k miles p/a, there's no way I'd consider a problematic diesel over a GTI!
