Could you stick to one thread please - absolutely no benefit in starting a new one only to reference the old one! If it's the front mount it is about £140 I think depending on what car you have.

Rubber Pedal Part No's for GSF? Sheffield branch = Numpties
Supercharged replied to Jay2's topic in Suppliers Forum
Just go to VW for the thottle pedal - it's a Scirocco part not MK1 Golf -
Black soot just means it's running very rich - when was it last setup / tuned?
-
Welcome to the forum... Sounds very much like hall sender breakdown / failure but you say you have changed the Distributer? (or did you mean just the cap?) Worth getting a new set of leads too maybe?
-
Hi matey - When was the fluid last changed?? What about gear oil? As for the shift, G60's are notoriously notchy but check you have the weight fitted, the support bar to the mount and that all the mounts are good. One thing to try is blast that whole area with WD40 or even pressure wash it to get rid of any old grease / grit etc... Then grab a glove full of CL grease and work it into the shift assembly, you'll need to do few miles before you notice the difference.
-
Yes, easiest way is to connect an EeziBleed kit to it and just let fluid flow thru...
-
Hammerite is oil based so not really the best stuff... Frost sell proper engine lacquer that will resist heat, oil, fuel etc Maybe look on eBay too.
-
Ok - it's most probably the master cylinder then as long as the clutch and slave that were fitted were good parts and the fork is not bent etc... Worth checking the slave is a proper part (should be unpainted ally) and not painted bright silver like some dodgy ones that appear on eBay etc... Any signs of dampness around the pipe or gearbox or inside the car around the pedal box?
-
Yep - always a good idea... VW leads are about £100 for a VR but VWspares do some very similar quality ones for less... http://www.vwspares.co.uk/corrado_electrical.php They also do Elring sump gaskets and yes it's a straight swap.
-
What car / engine do you have??
-
Yes, if you leave the slave faulty it will start to wear the master... as you say best to change both really on a 15+ year old car and I'd also consider doing the flexi pipe that leads to the slave.
-
^ More likely a Hydraulic fault and probably the slave cylinder - check for fluid loss and fluid on top of the gearbox. The bite point will get higher as the clutch wears.
-
LOL - Yeah that's fairly dangerous - especially with that small fuel pipe at the end of the rail - I'd check and replace that too!
-
LOL, it's so easy to do I don't know why they dont mark them in some way
-
Yes - afraid so, sounds very much like it's upside down... Might be worth calling G-werks quickly but many people have fitted these without issue
-
No they don't - you mentalist! :)
-
You'll need an entire G60 digifant loom, 16v's being K-Jetronic are completely different
-
The correct tool is cheap - it's really not worth messing about with pliers etc as you risk ripping the seals. All VW rear calipers wind back
-
Webiste is worse than it was before... As for Brembo disks, they are cack - VAG ones last twice as long
-
Speak to Vince at Stealth Racing - he has sorted out problems with loads of these over the years and they have also made a copy of the flap assembly for replacements.
-
Yeah - as I said above it looks like the outlet is snapped off (this needs to be blocked with glue) It might work on the other one that is blanked I guess...
-
They have a small platinum tip to take the excessive heat - the W6/W5 DPO last ages - upto 60k miles
-
VW do a bottom end gasket set for this engine - deffinetly not obselete.
-
It's a fairly huge job tbh, lots of parts needed and difficult to source in good condition so best to buy new... have a search on here for info.

Title change... Coilovers how much do the settle?
Supercharged replied to vwdeviant's topic in Drivetrain
Sorry! - didn't realise you were fitting coilovers! Just get the topmounts and the bolts - same on all corrado's
