How much is the original cassette holder worth?
Supercharged replied to G60 Bob's topic in General Car Chat
Yeah, also say its from a Black Campaign Sport Storm Edition  -
The small powerflex bumpstops with the Koni kit are cack and won't even fit over the dampers... IMO the GSF bumpstops (Febi) are actually better than the VAG ones as they are rubber as opposed to foam which will only last about 50k's before falling apart, just make sure you trim the 30-40mm off them as you are lowering the car.

You need to get some fine glass polish - the sort or stuff jewellers use on watch faces.... T-cut may do it but might be a bit to abrasive....
-
You sure its not the cambelt tensioner! You need to get the belts off and check the pulleys...
-
There stupidly expensive tho...
-
Why don't you give Vince a call and find out the exact spec when it was at Stealth...
-
I aint't had one since January either - Looking fwd to this one 8)
-
Hmmm, not got them on mine - I thought they usually came with the pads if needed? The Corrado pads have that spring on top that does roughly the same job...
-
All 4 cyl Corrado's use Mk2 driveshafts, the VR6 is different with its plus setup and uses a mk3 part.
-
Think its just 4 bolts underneath...
-
I think halfords do a repair kit....
-
Aren't crossdrilled going to be even more prone to cracking...
-
Do you also have a multi-lingual keycode entry system installed??
-
try using the search, its been discussed before several times...

93478 is GSF part nomber and is the low temp version of 191 959 481C which fits the G60's & VR's (built) upto 12/93 The above has a connector with 3 pins in a straight line, the later switches have a round connector with offset pins, GSF also sell this but not sure of Part number - just look at what they have and the temps are written on them, they are both less than a 10er each...
-
GSF sell them... Stage 1 is 84deg Stage 2 is 95deg Standard is 95 and 102 IIRC...
-
Also worth mentioning that if you can't see the crank pulley mark then try to use the flywheel one instead... (may be more accurate anyways If the crank pulley has been off in the past because as its held in place by a woodruff key and the crankbolt becomes loose, the key will snap and if its then just done back up again it may not be alligned correctly)

 Yeah, I was taking the p1ss out of Dom, I'd forgotten what you'd said... I'm just as bad, If not worse....
-
Yep, some chargers blew at less than 50k's but I know several people with G60's on 140k's plus with original chargers and engines still pulling strong (not sure I'd like to take the risk tho...!), Mine was fine after 89k's but the belt was looking a bit worse for wear and was getting slack...)

Corrado pulling a trailer just off the A12 to Melton earlier today?? Also clean looking White H reg G60 in ASDA's carpark in Ipswich....
-
Depends on year of G60 - there was a change over at K in the chassis number... Early - 030 906 265 Late - 037 906 265B Saying that I think they are fairly universal so you could probably 'make it fit'
-
If not GSF sell new OE ones fairly cheaply...
-
Cheers for that, I checked the URL and just assumed they'd changed the site as it says car audio?? - I'm sure both URLs used to point to the same place...
-
GSF sell these at a very good price but I don't think they have any at present.... (waiting for supply) Kamei is the daddy tho... there about £50, have a search for pictures on here...
