  1. Do you want to try saying that again?
  2. Yeah, they are less than a 10er from GSF
  3. If you mean the gap under the lower tray then all corrado's are like that because of the adjustable column, I agree it doesn't look to tidy and you can see all the ignition wiring looms underneath
  4. For me, PVW lost it ages ago... around the time when they featured some mongrel Corrado that looked more like a mk4 golf / Seat Leon cut and shut I swore never to buy another issue!
  5. Unless you want a full stainless steel system, stick to original VW exhaust, they are competitive and last a very long time! I recently replaced the backbox on my mums Golf and i bought an OE part from VW and gave my local garage a 10er to fit, this worked out at less than half the price of the cheapest quote I got and that would have been a patent part (only good for around 50k miles from my experience) If your going for a full system then, fair enough, you won't pay alot more for a custom stainles job - I recomend Powerflow as I am very pleased with mine but there are other good manufacturers and I would say the quality of fitment is just as important as the parts themselves - so make sure you go somewhere you know are good!
  6. Same pads and discs, get the Mk4 to Mk2 conversion hoses from Goodridge
  7. If its anything like the Mk2 Golf its alot easier just to chop the wiring and re-solder it...
  8. If he swaps them won't he then have the same problem on the other side?
  9. A motor  There are resisters in the control box that decipher the speed, these then trigger a relay (ontop of fusebox in the usual place i think) that lifts the spoiler up and down...
  10. Take it out for a spin (not literally!) and then check how hot each wheel is afterwards - That should tell you which corner is causing problems

Maybe be can send BannanaMan round to visit?
  12. Nice to see they do there research and ask the question on the GTi forum rather than THE Corrado Forum :? Anyone own a Corrado GTi?
  13. What was the delivery cost - I heard someone say that ordering from BBM to ship over here was very expensive?

I had this happen in my Mums golf after she overloaded it, nothing was broken just the catch did not have enought room to open, managed to prise it with a flatbladed screwdriver
  16. Yeah Halfords sell Sykes Pickavent ones, you will need them from the fronts, rears are not under much compression. You will however need a garage or bodyshop to do the geometry and wheel allignment after fitment and also adjust the rear brake bias if lowering by more than 35mm
  17. It will be the same as MK3's with abs so you might find one... They might not be much new from VW, always worth enquiring...
  18. The part number on ETKA is 535253409A so Is a Corrado specific part (about £100 from VW but maybe cheaper than that now as my ETKA prices are well out of date) Saying that they can probably bodge a GTi one to fit....
  19. I think Eurocarparts sell Bilstiein...
  20. Is it ok now? maybe as VR6 said it got flung forwards and the float mechanism got stuck at the top for a bit, I wouldn't worry unless it keeps happening.
  21. Kev, thats because I have advised my friends to leave yours and take the Mk3 down the road as its a far more reliable car
