Had a look at this today, could not find anything that would obviously be causing a problem, checked all bolts on the front end, made sure the wheels turned freely when on lock, or as freely as they can on s DSG, The only thing I found that was not right was the camber on the right front was at 4°, the left was still at 1° so I set the right back to 1° I havent driven it yet, dont like that wet stuff thats been falling from the sky 🤣 so hoping for better weather tomorrow

Hmm, not sure how I can check that but it did cross my mind that it could be something like that, only thing is, it has driven fine until I came home from the show Sunday, its like something has worn or come lose, I just hope its not the gearbox
-
no, nothing when stationary or driving slowly, or at least its not detectable at low speed, its the whole front that shakes.
-
Bearings are fine, front and rear, lifted the wheels today and tried to wobble them but there was no movement. A wheel weight would also show in a straight line and when going to the left, its only when turning right at a speed above 10-15 mph

Driving home today I started to feel a vibration when going round roundabouts. Its like the the wheel is wobbling and shakes the whole front of the car but only when turning right, left is fine. I've not looked at it yet other than checking wheel nuts, hub nut and trying to wobble the wheel but not found anything yet so was curious to know if anyone else have had similar? TIA

Woohoo, I have entered this world of chufties, waiting to pull in at a junction, the van pulling out put down his window and shouted 'nice car mate' then when I was back home, a couple of kids walked past and said the same, plus a few double takes from other drivers 🙂

There is always something about Corrado's that drags people back😆 Welcome back, looks a good starting point

Have you seen this vid https://youtu.be/loz1IB19X8Q

Just looked at your build again and I missed this the first time, that is a great idea and is now on my list for getting the ABS on the rear
-
Hadn't noticed the aerial delete, nice touch. Will you have an aerial somewhere else on the car or just stream music? Are they removing the rear windows and the spoiler rubbers? Looks a little odd to have bare metal'd round them

looks good, enjoy it I used to love driving my old G60

A genius idea, I take my hat off to you

Quickest car you've been in, owned and most interesting....
GrahamU replied to NickVR6's topic in General Car Chat
Quickest I've owned is the 6R I have now, but the old 3dr Cossie was reasonable Quickest I have been in would be a Bugatti Chiron and a Veyron, 200mph on german autobahn and a bit more on the Ehra test track and a short outing in a AML Valkyrie Quickest I've driven would be a McLaren Senna or 720s, Aston Vantage GT12 Untitled by Graham Ursell, on Flickr Click on the video above and turn up the sound, it was a development car with Floud written on the rear 'silencer' All in a days work 🙂 -
end of an era for you as well as us 😞

My first attempt at covering was the roof lining which I did with faux alcontara and that stretched enough to follow the contours around the visor recesses. Give it a go and find out how much stretch you have in the material you have. I have used a few spray adhesives and most have been rubbish, this is the best I have found so far https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/113693893436? You will mess things up when you do it so make sure you buy enough for your mistakes 😉 I also found that the plastic panels have like the A, B and C panels have a covering on them that is easily removed and makes it better to glue to, its a guess, but I assume the glove bos will be the same

Taken from the CCGB face book page being arranged by Pete that some of you may know Sunday 8th May Building on the success on the last few events I’ve decided to run another ‘Norfolk/Suffolk’ meet for the club. Venue: Old Ram Coaching Inn, Ipswich Rd, Norwich NR15 2DE (https://www.theoldramnorfolk.co.uk) Kick off: 9am This has been a very well attended event in past with 25-30 cars on show. Although called the Norfolk/Suffolk meet, I must stress that this is open to EVERYONE wherever you live in the country! So if you fancy ‘blowing the cobwebs’ off the old girl as we approach ‘show season’ it would be great to see you! As usual the venue will have teas, coffees and bacon rolls on the go should you wish to purchase. As far as COVID goes I don’t anticipate any restrictions but I will engage with the venue closer to the time and communicate through this event page if we have to comply with any if their requirements. hope to see you there!

nice and shiney. I've been stripping all the headlights I had in the garage and found 1 with a decent mirror finish 😞 still, half way there

Feature was in 98, be lucky if the car survived let alone the pods, shame they covered the plate so cant check it Prestige doesn't look to exist any more and bbg Distribution looks to have moved on to AV under a new name of peerless AV https://eu.peerless-av.com// Maybe they still have info on it
-
Prestige car audio did the install and I assume they were bespoke door pods made in house
-
Was going through the piles of old magazines I have and noticed one of the 'Car Stereo' mags had a Corrado on the front, that obviously sparked my interest so though I'd share I'm not convinced the sub box is the best looking I have seen but the door builds have given me an idea of what I need to do to mine
-
certainly does scrub up well. What gas struts you gone for under the bonnet?
-
E5 is not good for cars, my 6R needed new injectors because the plastic filters inside the injector got broken down by the ethonal and blocked the holes making it run weak and missfire... not good on a mapped engine Gonna be interesting to see how long before the big bills start for everyone that uses the e10

splashing the cash 😄 nice original touch

Forget I asked this, it is an old alarm no longer available but I found a web page that said it had stock, turns out they had not updated their web site for a few years and it was not in stock, quality alarm supplier website 🤦♂️
