It looks the nuts. I think it’ll be strong enough as long as you don’t fire it up or drive it without the bumper irons bolted through it
-
Are you wanting the whole system, the servo or the abs unit, not that I can help with that but it might identify what you are after specifically I suppose it’s in the title
-
Guess what the first thought was that went through my mind when I read that. It’s a complement easy, I’m amazed buy your ability to sniff out Corrado bargains and act on it with speed regardless of needing it now or not 👍. I don’t come across many and if I do I’m too hesitant, fair play, I live in the world of ffs

The Mot history doesn’t fill you with confidence
-
You can’t get the centre caps for that
-
Not sure about the lighting but it looks presentable, what’s it like to man handle 😉

Did you get the shift knob and gaiter off of eBay Easy ? Ive seen one similar and got it on my watch list but was unsure of the fit, does it the Corrado stick ok? I suppose is the 2nd question this is the one I’ve seen

You can put a 205 or 195 on a 6.5” wide rim. So 205x50x15
-
You can’t compare Mk2 prices as there are more of them left in the uk than Corrado’s were sold in the first place.
-
Also it’ll be a git to change if it does break
-
Only problem I can see is if it hits the other part of the stop a lot when the engine is running it will finish it off

Fact The bolt in the photo is to release the tension on the belt so you can change the belt/tensioner. It pushes against the raised knuckle of the casting to do the release of spring, obviously you’ve cracked the knuckle base. Opinion I wouldn’t think you’ll have any problems if you back the bolt off and removed it to put tension back on the belt. I’d then put marks on the tensioner where the cracks end now and keep an eye on if they are getting longer. If they do you have your answer and you’ll have to swap it out.

HELP! CORRADO VR6 BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER REPAIR KIT?
1xshaunx1 replied to faigolfgti's topic in Drivetrain
There is a second hand one for sale on eBay -
Cheers guys ^^^^^ I put it the garage and spent the weekend having a good think about how and what to do first without rushing in like a bull in a China shop “cause I wants it done”. I’m telling myself there is no rush, works hit and miss and the weather is pish, there is no need to rush.

The mirrors should be easy after all that. It’s usually the contacts in the switch that get covered in green corrosion and need cleaning off.
-
All back to aqua blue and i must say I’m very happy with it they’ve done a fantastic job. I sure hope I can keep it like that while I put it back together.
-
I think you need to give an idea of price. If for instance they are £500.00, I don’t think the demand will be very high.

Good stuff 👍

Good work I sat my shroud against the radiator for maximum air draw when on, you don’t really want air being sucked in from the sides as obviously you are trying to draw air through the radiator. and eventually went for these 12” fans which fit in nicely with a similar aluminium radiator to yourself

I’m running these Ferodo pads on the front but with Brembo grooved discs, I can report Zero front noise but they start to break up when they get a bit thin. Excellent stopping power to standard. I agree with dox however, squeaky brakes usually means something is sticking and not moving like it should, it needs stripping down to see why and then putting back together properly using a bit of copper slip in the right places.

(maybe it's the original, I don't know). Wouldn’t think so as all Corrados came with a rear view mirror fitted from the factory in Germany as standard equipment.

Should be done In a couple of weeks🤞

Well done mate looks fantastic 👍

I wouldn’t get them from Herritage. Everything large from them comes with damage as they have no idea how to pack stuff properly and they just blame the courier.
