car parts 4 less oil 5L all £12.49 + free delivery
seanl82 replied to davidwort's topic in Suppliers Forum
It's been mentioned a few times Kev. ECP are a forum sponsor on another forum I frequent, and they confirmed that they are a sister company. All parts are stocked in the same warehouse, and you may even end up taking delivery from an ECP delivery driver! Reason for e price difference is that obviously CP4L is an online company only, so no local shops and staff to take into account, and there is no forum to run. (Which apparently ECP have). -
Really? You seem to be buying up every used car with over 2.5L capacity in the UK atm James!

Bulb holders are standard but you'll need either green bulbs, or better still 50w 6ohm resistors with led amber bulbs for much better light output for the indicators

One on auto trader atm too. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201401050824858/sort/default/usedcars/onesearchad/used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew/make/volkswagen/postcode/po143bn/model/corrado/radius/1501/page/1?logcode=p

New not retreads, and current run not past recommended shelf life, both of which I would have suggested they were if not advertised as they are. Seems good actually. -
Welcome Matt! Another owner in the surrounding area! Quite a few of us now which is great. Get some pics up of your car or start a thread in the members gallery mate, Blackberry is always a favourite!

Hoff, not sure tbh mate. It's a weird one, and even the sills under the wings are rock solid and never been touched. Rob, thanks mate! The missus has only been in the job 6 weeks since returning from maternity, and she needs a car for work. Couldn't really let her call in and cancel tbh, so had to bite my fist on that one!

I think everyone who owns a Corrado has a list of varying length, most being as long as a Neanderthals arm! A bit of Sun shone through the clouds for a few minutes today, so I went out to have a look at the front end to see what it was like. It made me smile! Just 're-read my entire thread to see how its come since the beginning. Have to say, I'm really chuffed with how it's come along this last 9 months or so since I got it. :smug: Really gives me the enthusiasm for cracking on and getting it to a high standard. I'm gonna 're-paint the spare set of rear lights this w.end and stick em on. Looking forward to seeing how it goes together. I'll go for a little pootle and get some more pics too if weather is ok. :thumbleft:

Another to add to the list - my missus used my car last week and parked it face up on an incline on the drive. (I always reverse up), and my drivers carpets were drenched. It was coming through the grommet for the throttle cable, so worth a check there too.

I love these wheels. I was looking for a set of reps before I got the RX's as I couldn't afford a genuine set. I'm kinda styling my car on this and thought it looked friggin awesome! http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=corrado+bbs.lm&FORM=HDRSC2#view=detail&id=F5CBE141BDF61ED8EB4BF3006657610108BD8483&selectedIndex=6

Porsche nappa leather trimmed parts and small bits

I've already got the 288 calipers, disks and pads, just not got round to ordering the hoses yet. It's all items that I want in time so I'm not in any rush, and as you're not too far away, and have an excellent example with such a good spec and being so clean, it would be shame to miss out. Shame your breaking but I understand with how much you've put into it, you'd never see anywhere near that in return. Thanks mate!:thumbleft: -

Apart from the interior, are these just spares you have Ramsay? If/when you start stripping the car, can I have first dibs on your splitter, fogs, GB (if you have lsd?), engine mounts (if uprated) and possibly brake hoses if I don't get some in the meantime please. :thumbleft: -
Second dibs if stone doesnt want this please Jim.

Looks a tidy little motor there Andy, good work so far! Good to see it being cared for and kept in nice clean original condition. Have a search about the forum if your doing the diesel conversion yourself. I think purpletom did a pretty good writeup on it when he did his mate.

The VW stuff is white, and is uber expensive apparently. There is a loctite alternative available from Halfords though from what I remember. 381 or something like that anyway......

Part numbers here mate. http://www.google.co.uk/url?q=http://direct.the-corrado.net/showthread.php%3Ft%3D82472&sa=U&ei=r4vJUumBKPTB7AbGhIGgCQ&ved=0CC0QFjAB&usg=AFQjCNHXtWlyBpGERAzESAaL_v-gpVOq0w

It can be done Rog. I forget the name of the stuff that's generally used, but there are loads of different product to use with different methods on the market. With glass though, it's a case of rounding the sharp edges to make it less noticeable, so it'll never completely rid it of scratches. Have a look on Detailing World, some good info on there mate.
