  1. unless you're going at about 400mph i doubt it would make any difference at all, there's no pressure difference unless you connect it to the throttle body, so why would air go into the tube?
  2. Welcome to the forum mate, that's a very tidy motor :)
  3. quick test for the wheels sensors is to check the resistance at the connectors on the suspension turrets with a multimeter, if one's fubar'd you will get a sky high resistance.
  4. any jobs going? Glad you had a ggod time mate!
  5. Greeny, Your Corrado is sweet - where do you put your number plate?
  6. I'm with easypops, The intermittant nature suggests that it's something that can easily change i.e. dodgy wires
  7. matrix broke, level go down. No, coolant leaves the engine bay through a pipe through the bulkhead, go round the matrix, and then back to the engine bay via the other hose Yep Nope, the opposite in fact; You can easily undo the two pipes that connect through the bulkhead and connect them together, matrix bypassed, no more wet feet. Then fix it at your leisure. (it is a bu66er of a job) HTH
  8. well, they will bolt straight to the 4 stud hub without carriers with 270mm discs, so I would assume that you'd just need a flat spacer/carrier like the one pictured.
  9. http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic. ... 16v+tuning also try typing in 9A on clubgti forums - some very good stuff on there
  10. errr "lane hopping" is a bit strong a phrase for someone potentially changing lanes once within a couple of miles - i love the stupid angle the mail takes, on the motorway under normal driving conditions i change lanes a fair bit - i call it proper lane discipline.
  11. Sorry but a club without members simply isn't serving the needs of enough people, it would have more members if it was. Membership doesn't have to provide a leaflet or magazine - it's the community that counts, and we're a captive audience in that there already IS a community; look what flickr, myspace and youtube have achieved by taking a simple need a serving it well to build a community from scratch. Half that works already done when you look at dubbers - the sooner the big clubs realise this and start to work toward it, the better for the whole scene. Individuality collectively represented is more important to the survival of the scene than everyone wearing the same badge; and if a few big old clubs need to go under to kick the others up the arse, then that's fine by me. 12. lightweight  :cyclops2: :geek:
  13. Yeah, I definitely wouldn't be holding your breath for a sequential solution from MS!
  14. I bought a rad from GSF for about £50 but it started leaking after a couple of months, so I'd only go for genuine VAG now
  15. dizzy sounds like first port of call, unless you've got some serious coke issues...
  16. in Cardiff mate, been meaning to take some pics and stick it up on here for a while. Someone's bound to know something about it
  17. Any ideas whether VW/Merc ever collaborated on the type 2?
  18. I thought the porsche boxster rears could just bolt straight to the front 4stud hub (where the carrier would bolt) without a caliper carrier. You just need 270mmm discs (mill down g60)
  19. Cheers Steve, I think you lose about 2 litres from the circuit, seems alot and I don't want to run into cooling problems. Come on Billy boy, spill the beans :D
  20. Has anyone fitted a MK1 top fill rad to their C? Any cooling problems?
