  1. There should be a sensativity adjuster on the side of the alarm control module (buried behind the dash). Have a fiddle with it and see what happens.
  2. There's a cafe at Haigh Hall for food etc if needed. Another thing to mention is that there's plenty of leafy open spaces and a playground for the kids as well.
  3. Maybe meet at Haigh, then saunter over (country lane cruise style) to Rivington barn for a chip butty and a stare at the bikes ? Sometimes the barrier is up at Haigh, so there could be a possibility of a few arty shots outside the hall. Lots of options. Better check I'm not double booked already.
  4. Cheers chaps. For a minute I was worried I'd have to track down an OE bike rack !
  5. Have you tried Moss. They'd be my first stop anything Triumph: http://www.moss-europe.co.uk/Spitfire.aspx
  6. Anyone see the brief interview with Guy Martin last night. In a nut shell, when asked "that was a hard job out there today" replied "are you kidding me, I ride bikes for a fortnight. Hows that a job ? That's not workin', have you ever done a days graft ?" and carried on laughing till the camera cut away. Yet again another day where normal lads doing abnormal things with bikes. Even Rossi hasn't got the kahunas to do what they do. First class entertainment.
  7. My 8v came with a half blanked grill. Yet the VR one is open. I can understand the reasoning though. The VR6 runs hot compared to the 8v. In fact, due to all the air space in the engine bay, the 8v barely registers on the move.
  8. Cheers Sean. Annoyingly, the only ground from the Championship I'd not been to was Bristol City. Sure we'll cross paths again in the next few seasons. Doesn't seem five minutes since we played at Hillsborough pre season about six years ago. But made up about Palace getting promoted though. After all that the club has been put through over the last few years. Can we borrow Kevin Phillips if we get into the play offs next season ?
  9. Been over a few times and loved every second. Even as a non biker who has no interest on a day to day level, the atmosphere coupled with the natural beauty that it is the IOM should be experienced by all at least once. Every time I've gone back I always come away asking "how is this race still allowed to continue". About the only sports event i've been to where there's not even a hint of corporate guests just there for the jolly. I mean where can you go and walk round the paddock and pit lane to talk to the riders and mechanics any more. They even have the scouts running the time boards for cripes sake !
  10. Might be getting ahead of the question here, but I've just rebuilt my drivers side regulator with new cables and housing (couldn't buy a rebuild kit for a corrado). Will be installing it and writing a little guide in the next couple of weeks.
  11. There's only one row that plugs in (bottom one) that is for use. The upper one serves no function to the dash light. I'd be checking for power from the lower feed first.
  12. What bike fitting is on your rack ?
  13. Not me. The blackberry is from over Billinge way. Mine is Sherry pearl (dark red) and resides that way as well. Back to the car though. So long as the front wings arn't rotted through it may be worth a closer look. And to be honest, even if they are, they can be replaced easy enough. Maybe even budget in a front end blow over. What I can't stress enough is check the rear arches ( at the end of the sill). The underseal is really thick and hides a multitude of rusty sins. When I bought my VR6 it didn't have (what looked like) a spot of rust on the body. Unfortunatly when I came to rub back what I thought was a small ten pence size of rust, turned into a lot more. I've put a link to the pictures so you get a better idea: http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?46730-Carry-on-Campaign-Pull-up-to-my-bumper-baby/page29 There's loads in the search if you need advice. Or ping me message if you get stuck. Happy hunting
  14. Good choice of colour. Blackberry really has balooned in popularity over the last few years. For just reasons. There's even one near me. Would be nice to know of another Corrado in the borough as well. Two simply isn't enough.
  15. No shame in that. Not usually a fan of modern wheels but those don't look half bad. Look forward to the next installment.
  16. Holy thread resurrection batman !
  17. You'll find that because Corrados are that well sealed, they do need a good slam to close. Good to see another stock car getting some love.
  18. There's a few basic upgrades that those wanting even a stock car can't avoid. Door strikers, Lupo/ TT wipers and headlight loom are usually the first things to get changed. You won't be short of knowledge to tap into on here. Welcome along.
  19. Second on this. Happened to me about twelve months back.
  20. Thanks everyone. There simply aren't enough superlatives to express the vibe around here at the moment. Just got back from a post match de-brief in our local public house. Everyone looks like they came dressed from yesterday. We're all just in a state of shock still. It did make me smile when one of our circle of friends said they had booked a hotel for the Charity shield already ! Can't imagine there's many Latics fans on here. That said, I don't think I've seen many football threads on here full stop. Either way here's a few pictures from the day (As of an hour ago, we've been spotted on ITV, BBC news 24, ESPN and SKY don't you know). Starting with my home made flag, which I had in front of us behind the goal, and has travelled more miles to grounds than the lunar shuttle. Think I'll be smiling like a loon for the next six months.
  21. Great spot Jim. Can't believe how many people have seen this clip now. Was just telling Jim how my phone nearly set alight with all the messages I got over the course of the evening. Still hasn't sank in that Wigan have their name on the FA cup. For me, the recent success story of the FA cup has always been Wimbledon, and since then the press have always secretly yearned for another unfashionable/small club to win it. On Saturday it happened again. I've followed Wigan for a long time. From rainy Tuesday night away days at clubs like Hartlepool, Brighton, Stockport to warm sunny Saturday afternoons at Southport, Halifax and Marine. And when you've followed a club through such a meteoric rise over the last fifteen years (in a town that used Wigan Athletic as a running Joke by many, including the egg chasers), it's really hard to put into words what I'm feeling now. I'm not ashamed to say that I was bawling like a baby after the final whistle. That fact that was also captured on film (thanks ESPN) whilst holding Oscar. In fact I'm filling up typing this. A truly fantastic day (even though we only got home at 2:30 this morning). Many memories for the family and most importantly, the next generation of supporter. Wigan Athletic, You are my sunshine.
  22. Welcome to the fun house. In the mean time you need to do this: http://wiki.the-corrado.net/fan_speed_thermal_fuse_repair.html Suspension is a very personal thing on here, and has been discussed in length many many times. Personally I can't fault standard suspension for comfort and price. But your personal requirements will dictate more to which suspension will be appropriate. Kudos for coming back to the fold as well Hope you enjoy Corrado number 4. All the best, James
  23. That's good. What kind of money would you need (posted) ? + Drivers window outer/lower scraper seal (not badly bent like mine !) ?
  24. Drivers window regulator/cable (complete unit) available ? Thanks in advance
