well - the BIG day has finally arrived after many years of collecting & hoarding parts & somehow managing to find another Kamei skirt kit the VR6 is about to be dropped off to the body shop for some serious treatment 😄 ive stripped out rear seats, rear & front door cards & passenger seat, loaded up boxes of new/replacement parts & put the skirt kit in - next stop no rust & fresh paint all over just need to try & sort a replacement windscreen as wouldnt you know 2 days before the screen is due to come out ive noticed several cracks in the lower passenger side corner, typical lol hopefully i can figure out how to put some pics on here of a before & after - hold tight im a tad nervous lol

I had 263's dropped in during my head rebuild & also went for the BMC - with a Vince remap & a good free flowing exhaust id guesstimate you would end up around the 220-225 mark FYI the BMC sounds awesome!! :D

good points Mr Bacon a friend showed me an Escort RS2000 which has just gone for over 90K from the NEC classic show!!
-
nice graph Spen & looks very similar to that on mine - gotta love the way Vince gets the power delivery so smooth throughout the full range :D
-
cracking!! screen printed & saved for agreed value proof next year many thanks for posting the link

My VR went for a head rebuild, chains & refresh at Stealth - during which i had SP263's dropped in, BMC air filter & a Vince re-map amongst other things I ended up with just shy of 210 horses with almost the same torque IIRC. I have since had a 2.5" Longlife SS with hi-flow CAT fitted & would guess a new map would be approaching the 215 - 220 mark I think the best part about all the work was the map Vince put on it, the power delivery is far & away better than the factory map. i will dig out my power curve output & try to post it as an example

thanks m8 - i did think about him when i walked the dog earlier but then forgot

title & post edited as i am looking for the part which houses the headlight switch & air vent
-
thanks all upon inspection today it seems the switch itself is not the offending item it looks like the housing it slots into has cracked & is allowing the right hand side of the switch to move such that the switch cant go to off position
-
tidy thanks fendervg much appreciated & i will take a look if im honest the one that has failed was the 2014 group buy with LED version which was extremely bright & reflective off the windows

Corrado parts sale inc parcel shelf, bbs caps and tyres

Hi - i would possibly be interested in the BBS center caps, what were your thoughts on those? thanks -
Hello all Does anybody have a working headlight switch available please? My first trip out in the VR in the dark for a long time & the bloody headlight switch broke such that it wont turn the lights off. It was one of the repro ones from the group buy on here. Hence i had to disconnect the battery when i got home last night. thanks in advance EDIT: so, it seems it is not the switch that is broken. i have somehow cracked the housing into which the switch sits by the air vent. thus the switch pushes back when trying to turn the lights off Does anybody have a good condition housing section available please?
