I really like the RZ - want some for my Golf in 15, but all of them are missing the centre caps and a set of caps sell for between 200- 300 , almost seems a hassle owning them incase the caps get stolen. You will be £750 in after caps sourced and alloys refurbished- getting to close to RM figures and know which I would prefer. By the way the RZ looking great on a 4 stud Rado if you can get a complete set for a good price. Anyone ever owned some of the 6 star Volkswagenwerk alloys - they must be as rare as rocking horse poo. 100 percent better off buying genuine, its a job you don't want to do again for a long time . One symptom of a failing ignition switch I have stumbled across in the past is the car will only start if you turn the key really fast and firm. Unfortunately the dealers are closed at the moment but I purchased one about 3 months ago and was about £38.00 - just tell dealer you can get cheaper elsewhere - you know what they can go down to now the stealers ha. I know Johnsons dealerships are closed but Im going to try some more today (Listers). If the car has been sitting for a long time could be the fuel and filter adding to the situation.

Had this original brochure out earlier and good to see the optional VW aftermarket alloys - Ronals on there as well. As you can see what we call BBS RZ for a Corrado are actually a BBS RJ. The RZ on show came in a 14 for a Golf - BMW E30 15. . Never seen one of the Volkwagenwerk 6 star splits very nice.

Ill test fit when I get the car back as its away at the moment getting the engine sorted. You can still get them new from classics but very expensive but should be plenty of second hand ones on the market.

How does this help your seals, stops things stick to the rubber ? Does it also treat the rubber and back to black? Cheers.

Im getting some of this stuff, didnt no it even existed, is it ok to spray it into the ignition barrel, as mine sometimes sticks and cant even turn the wheel lock, well annoying.

Tempting, good to know swg do one - great when you can just swop something out for the original if you ever sell the car or return to stock.

I bet they don't even know they came on a Vento racing car so will keep it hush . I imagine they are unique as they made them 7.5 to get some larger callipers in there, corse are 7J I believe.

100 percent they are a unique alloy agreed and I imagine if you posted a pic on the MK3 forum of prototype Rallye with them on they would be highly sort after. Rarest alloy out the lot at a guess.

Ok test fitted the Speedline corse cap today and it is a 100 percent correct OE fit. The Motor sport decal will be made to 55mm and handy enough the caps come without the decal glued on so can save the original decals or sell them.

Been measuring the Vento cups up today for some centre caps. The stock speedlines are 58mm I believe and the Vento cups centre caps are 1-2mm wider diameter. I believe the centre caps from a Speedline Corse will fit and advertised as 59mm-60mm. Im going to test fit one. Have asked Ren to make the decal 3d print in 55mm. to compensate for the diameter border. Also attached below picture of Motor Sport cap. Once made not sure whether to preserve them and only put them on for shows. I Ha probably Dox- no dealt somebody purchased a car second hand that the last owner had upgraded to 288 as there is no 288 on the diagrams just checked.

I've got a small one just 280 stock ha ! Did any factory Corrado VR6 come with 288 Im sure ive seen somewhere before some folks claiming there;s came from factory with 288.

Possibly mate I have never purchased a set so could nt vouch for them. Have any of you got the 312 disc fitted to Mk4 callipers with the 6mm spacer ? I imagine Shaun you will need some serious brakes with the power you are running. Whe I owned a Mustang S550 they had 6 pot and 4 pot Brembos but the car weighed 1720 KG with the 5.0 coyote lump in it.
