    Yeah no probs - I think it's likely to be one of the microswitches thats the problem, not sure if you can buy these but they may just need cleaning... Are you about town in the day time? I'm in the Curve bar most lunchtimes..

    I bought the whole lot last month Trig, everything came in the next day...

    Just give the dealer the registration and they will print out all the services, breakdowns and recalls it's had... you won't be able to get the actual reciepts for the work tho unless you go back to that particular garage if it still exists...

    So what is the advantage of this rocker cover then?? the sump I understand but I can't see what this would do or is it purely cosmetic?

    There shouldn't be any noticable space between them mate... Jack it up and try and turn the wheel by hand, that should show if the brakes are binding, also compare it to the other side... If it kind of rubs every turn on something or goes 'tight' then it could be the disc is not sitting flat on the hub (ie there was some dirt when they refited it)

    Hmmm - yeah the rod connects to the part above and that pivots to lock / unlock but I'm not exactly sure whats broken without looking at my car and it's a bit dark now... It does look like there is metal sheered off in the first pic but could be just the flash... also the white bit on the pivot should plug into something...

    Doesn't look great (I'd check your coolant mix) but you can only tell if it's working by sticking it in a pan with a multimeter attached.

    But it's not\like driving a car without PAS as you are having to manualy move the cold fluid around - I wouldn't recomend driving it anywhere but to a garage...

    Aquire yourself a cam (just the inlet I think) from a KR engine (1.8) and get it to Stealth Racing to be fitted and tuned on the rollers...
